We LOVE this place! The menu is broad, the buffet is tasty and plentiful with Shawarma, Kabobs and Filafil. We have eaten at both locations (Oakbrook and Downtown) The atmosphere downtown is nicer but the food is the same in either place. We're planning to bring friends next week. I am sure they'll love it too.
Rezas is a good restaurant for something different out in the burbs dominated by the usual diners and fast food places. Its a nice restaurant that gives you a lot of food for your money.Order the persian tea and the fattoush to start. The salad is a great appetizer that cleanse the palate and open your appetite. I highly recommend you try the Joujeh Kabob(chicken on the bone). Or the serious meat lover- the Shishleek or the Chengeh kabobs.Try it medium rare. The platter comes with unlimited pita, soup, veggie/feta garnish plate, two rice choices(dill or plain-try the dill), grilled tomato and onion, and skewers of meat. Two can share one platter. I love their Bamieh(donut like pastry dipped in honey-but way more fattening and tastier) to finish the meal. For the adventurous- try the Fessenjeh. The platter comes with a quail drowned in a pomegranate sauce. They have a great dish for vegetarians or for sharing called the Vegetarian Platter. Plenty of food and nice ambience. I have been to all three locations and my best memories have been to the first location in Andersonville. I've been dining there since I was 10 years old. Enjoy!
