Restaurant at Lani Kai Island Resort, Fort Myers Beach

There's nothing I didnt like about this place, they have an awesome band playing on the bottom level bar, it's beach front.. The people are amazing, bartenders as well.. drinks were exceptionally tastful, and it was nothing short of a good time! ..

If you ONLY want to pay for your current drink, or meal make sure you tell the waitress or bartender. Otherwise you may be charged over $50 to your card as if you were running a tab. They don't care either about getting your money back in your account in a timely manner either.

I wanted to eat here when we drove by because what could be better than a roof top restaurant where you can eat and have a great view of the gulf? The elevators were slow and nosy, the hostess had to short shorts on with her chest hanging out (better fit for hooters) the windows and tables all needed washed, the servers were more interested in talking amongst themselves than in serving their tables, our salads came out brown and wilted, and the food was only mediocre. We will definately not be going back.

Disliked the whole place...beach is beautiful as the Southwest of FL is but this hotel why is it there!!! tourist trap really traps people and mis leading not even any parking at the place...filthy do not go there!!! the city of Ft Myers and the Chamber should really do something about this place..

Pros: Hot Spot on the beach for college age crowd that wants to drink on the beach and meet people. Nice bar downstairs that is pretty fun from 1a-2a when the dj is on. Great contests on the beach are fun to watch and participate in. Our room functioned fine and was not dirty. Cons: No coolers on the beach, but backpacks are ok. Staff members don't like guests bringing their own alcohol on the beach but probably won't care as long as you disguise it. We drank everyday on the beach from our own bag and didn't get it taken away. Enjoyed our stay. Would like to come back.

If you wanted any more dirt you would have to bury this place six feet under ground. Even when you ask a attendent to clean something they would just move the dirt from one olace to next. So long over due for remodleing it would be better to gut this place out and start all over again!

I loved the view and whole sceen. Its inexpensive too. The views of the beach at sunrise and sunset were breathtaking. I would get a room with a patio... you'll be out there all the time.

The live music is horribly loud and continues until 2 am EVERY NIGHT! We encountered alot of intoxicated people - young & old - in the hotel & on the beach. Of the good points - the beach area is great & they offer everything in water sports. But I will never return - you can only go so many days without sleep (the live music makes that impossible). This is not a family destination - It's a party place!

This resort was the worst I have stayed. The rooms are in awful shape. Toilet seats falling off, drains not working.The only freindly people are the bar tenders. If you want service this is not the place. I did not feel safe here.

the bouncers are dirty, they try to get sexual favors from girls trying to just enjoy a night. how can u enjoy u enjoy ur night when u cant walk an inch without gettin sexual harassed? they need to be looked into because they are the sickest men ive ever come around.
