Pleasantly Surprised

Something like taste could come down to the individual and their physical makeup.
I cannot speak for any services except the buffet (which expands beyond just Chinese food into some European continental and some seafood) and it was notably fresh and definitely satisfying as someone who lives for the pleasure of eating, although your tastebuds won't be overpowered.
There is nothing to write home about in terms of the look or feel of the place except it's a comfy and clean layout.
The service was phenomenal but they are SO on the spot ready to refill drinks and pick up plates that some people might feel imposed upon. He must've been around seven times in less than an hour, and I have a feeling that the situation would've been the same if the whole place had been full instead of half-full. It was a non-issue for me and sort of comical but I'd rather lean on super-attentive than super-ignored with dishes piling up, etc. Just throwing it out there for who it matters to.
The dinner price was a little over nine bucks. I'm not used to that price because cities where I live are usually around 100,000 people but it's still competitive and being just a notch above expectations for the deliciousness (for me personally) it made it worth it.
