Received 2 $50 gift certificates for Christmas, so my wife and I decided to go here to watch a CF Bowl Game...although we are local residents, we had only been in this place one other time 2 years ago and it was not a good experience. After telling our server, Stephanie, that we were going to enjoy some apps, drink some beer, and watch the game we were totally shocked when she brought us a ticket after 1 app and 3 beers each. When I asked her why she brought us a ticket so quickly, she got this weird attitude and acted like we were out of line. After discussing it over, we decided to leave and go to Chilis where they NEVER try to rush us out. I still don t understand why this happened but will not ever go to this Applebee s again.
The worse Applebees around. Service is horrible, Did not eat anything as we sat there for 45 min and never got our order. Thats after it took the waitress (if that is what you want to call her) 30 min before ever taking our order. They talked about being busy but there were only six customers in the entire restruant.
Da-- Good restaurant!Rolled into Fernandina Beach one evening about 7:30 P.M.Place was packed and had to sit at the bar.Usually sitting at the bar means slow service BUT not at this restaurant!Had an ICE-COLD bottle of beer( HAD ONLY ONE) in front of me within minutes(Really needed it after a 200 mile motorcycle ride down from my home in Georgia!)My order was taken within minutes(Applebee's Steak(M-Rare) and Grilled Shrimp with piping HOT Baked potato and Steamed seasonal vegetable-Brocolli) and served up with sweet tea(Again,Ice-cold!:)The atmosphere was good,The waitress/bartender very friendly and efficient. The only thing I can find that was wrong was the 3 TV's that kept playing CNN and G.W.Bush/Dick Cheney/Republican propaganda. But most Applebee's have these,SO no BIG deal!Got out with only a $23.00 bill (with tip!)I WOULD/will eat here again the next time I am in Fernandina Beach!Recommended!
