Happy Buffet, Riverside

My parents took me their for my 20th bday. I really Dont Have Any Complaints..yes the people do have a grouchy face.lol..but food was great and spending time with my fam their was awesome..i really liked it.and now i think we might take my father in law for his bday ....its not as bad as some people say.its actually really good to spent time with the fam and like i said the food is great..i recommend it...

Dirty! Will never eat there again! No Mussels for lunch. When it was NY Buffet...it was a good food,clean and reasonable. Now sushi area floors were terrible sticky, the dirty dishes are stacked in carts near the the food buffet lines. The ice cream machine overfill tray was heaping full of ice cream and sitting and running down the front of the machine. Bathrooms were worse than a gas station. And the beautiful pond of fish and turtles has become brownish/green, full of trash. Telling all my neighbors and friends....just sadly disgusting.

The food is actually really good, and is the only reason I have been more than once. But everything else about this place is horrible. The people there are mute and look miserable. Instead of being Called Happy Buffet, I have renamed it Grouchy Buffet.

My family likes to eat there, but, they need to be cordial to people and have clean bathrooms and floors! Also, they should not be rude by talking in chinese!!

Martha: the hostess you referring to: is she the chinese white anemic longhair that looks like a horse? we're on the same page the chick that am referring too...she's not a good receptionist, they keep on talking chinese, when customers complain...i can understand a little bit of what theyre saying actually. I prefer the china star buffet in la sierra...not lots of dishes, but the cooking has quality unlike in happy buffet.

That is good food i go often but they do have to clean a little more....and not rush the check when you are done with the first plate.. and i dont like the way the staff talks their on their owm and we dont undestand. THAT IS RUDE

The ambience of the store is awful. For starters the carpet is filthy with black stains everywhere and food is seen dropped on the floor constantly. I received the scent of urine from the seat near by where I sat, which I assume is the result of lousy parent who does not know how take care of a child and of lousy maintenance. Hopefully the kitchen is not as dirty, I guess its not for I did not get sick. Worst of all, the food is not even that great. Save your $10 and go to a regular chinese restaurant which serves plates for $5. Flavor wise there was not that much of a difference. For $10 might as well spend $5 more and got to Sizzler : )

The food is good but their parking is not secure-my vehicle was stolen here. It's not well lit and I doubt they even have a security camera.

Yes the food there is the best I have had ever!The service is great and the food is always great.We go there when ever we can.Also the environment is very pleasant.
