Secret Harbor

Description

Secluded coves, enormous boulders and huge trees make this beach a popular place for nude sunbathers. If that's not your thing, come anyway and enjoy the beautiful beach. You will find a paved parking lot above the beach, but one needs to walk about a mile to reach the water. It's well worth the hike to enjoy the solitude and beauty of the area. Dogs are welcome to join the beach activities. The beach is accessible year-round, if you dare.

Vivid blues, and the occasional pink bottom

Secret Harbor is the cleanest, friendliest, and one of the least textile-encumbered beaches at beautiful Lake Tahoe, NV. Located on the (warmer watered) East Side, this beach has a cold, fresh-water stream entering the lake on the beach's south end -- perfect for chilling those cold drinks you packed in (and WILL be packing out as well, of course!). There is a group of regulars who take _very_ good care of "their" beach, and are always welcoming of new and returning visitors, as long as one respects the beauty and serenity of the beach and its surroundings. Come and prepare to have a wonderful time, and remember: Happiness is NO tan lines!
