Eagle Lake Hike
Description
This easy walk is only about a two-miles round trip to the lake and back. The breathtaking views of Emerald Bay and Lake Tahoe make this a must-do trip. After you cross the steel footbridge at Eagle Falls, continue on through the desolation wilderness. The terrain varies from steep sections to flat trails on this beautiful hike through dense sections of forest. The weather can change quickly; so be prepared with the proper clothing and equipment. You must self-register at the kiosk located at the trailhead when you take this hike.
Loved the hike! And it's great for the whole family-I went with my mom and dad and dog, who all enjoyed it. Beautiful views and very nice trails!! Next time, I will backpack in and stay the night.
