Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center, Truckee

This equestrian center offers several types of group and private trail rides that will give you a fun and memorable experience. Guided trail rides are for ages seven and up. They offer a barbecue trail and wagon ride on select Saturday evenings from 5:00pm-7:30pm. When you arrive back at the ranch, you are taken via wagon to a picnic area where you can enjoy an outdoor barbecue. Dinner includes barbecue chicken, ribs, corn, beans, slaw, apple pie and s'mores. After dinner there is a treasure hunt and water balloon toss. For the kiddies age two to six, the center offers half-hour pony rides. This is a fun outing for the entire family.
