Lolita calls itself "BYOT"Bring Your Own Tequila. The sophisticated Mexican food available here offers a variety suited to most any palate, in an environment that is pleasantly laid back. The menu features many Mayan-inspired dishes with an international twist, such as the borrega, borrega , a grilled ginger lamb loin served with a huitlacoche tamal and portabello-shiitake escabeche. And don't let the "BYOT" motto fool youthe selection of margaritas served by the pitcher is not to be missed.

The food is very good but a little pricey. The menu hasn't changed much over the last few years and the last time we were there, they were pushing us out the door so they could close by 10 on a Sunday night.

Beware - cash only (no credit cards)! I had to dip into my mad money to pay. No liquor licence either, if that is important to you. The food was good, though not exceptional. Would I go back? probably not - a bit pricey, and no CC/no bar thing meant that there are better palces to go.

This is a great little place. The food is delicious and priced fairly well. It's BYOT and they have great margarita mixers. Delicious food choices: enchiladas with shrimp, and carne asada. The only cons are that the restaurant is small (has wait times) and gets loud.

Best Watermellon Margarita in Philly

This BYOT (Bring your own Tequila) restaurant sells wonderful pitchers of mixers to go with your favorite tequila. The fresh watermellon and mint is a must try! The quality of their food is great and the location is almost dead center in the center of Philadelphia.
