California Museum, Sacramento

We enjoyed the museum with our school aged kids. History is presented in artifacts and stories. We learned a lot about the Native peoples of CA, ISHI, immigrants to CA, the Japanese Internment Camps, the history of the State, the seal, the Constitution etc. great women honored by the Minerva Awards, CA's environmental disasters and rescue, CA born famous folks and a little bit about CA industry and skateboarding. It was an informative and interesting trip. The store didn't have a great selection for kids and this wasn't a flashy, high tech or jump out and grab you kind or trip. We had a good time and learned a lot in the several hours we spetnt there which was our goal for the day.

I totally disagree with the previous review. I found the museum both informative and fascinating. The displays are excellently thought out. I very much enjoyed this museum. I've been there twice and will go again. A museum that Sacramento can justifiably be proud of.
