It was quite the experience.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/18/09
Well, my family and I went to Sunsplash in August on a wednesday in hopes of avoiding the rush, but when we got there, everything turned strange. After five minutes of swimming, the lifeguards called us out because some kid had crapped in the pool, yuck! I played lazer tag with my little boy and some fourty year old guy was running around in there, pushing kids over if they shot him and was obviously on some kind of weird drug (he worked there). While playing mini-golf I noticed that the employees had changed the voices on the volcano thing at the front that tells the story of a the course to pornographic moaning and stoned giggles and to top it all off, after we left, I found a harem of girls and my son in the middle in the enclosed video game section. If I wasn't so proud and entertained, I would've sued.

Fun For all
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/09
They offer many differet price points for each day or night. paid for 2 people at 16.99. Night Slides are packed but fun for all ages. The Employees were very nice to my kids. The lifeguards on the wavepool looked like robots

Fun but frustrating
By Serena, 08/04/09
We traveled over two hours with another family to go to Sunsplash. We had some coupons that helped us with the cost. The slides were very fun. There was something for everyone of all ages. However, 90% of the staff were very rude. I would suggest for the park to have more signs posted as to where or not chairs can be placed, signs posted as to how often the waves are produced in the wave pool, signs posted as to where guests can or cannot be in the pools. Those whistles were blowing all day with barks from the employees at the children to not hang on the side of the pool or to use the stairs. I appreciate the amount of lifegaurds for safety but they could sure be a little nicer and have more posted rules to alleviate some of the frustration on both the guests and employees.

Fun for all ages
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/09
Lots of things to do...........trouble is.................you wait and wait to get on the slides. Its like Disneyland waiting in a long line carrying a very large tube. Quite expensive to go when you are only able to get on the slides every 30 minutes due to lines. Management should not let so many people in! Water and slides were clean and nice employees.

I'd rather go to a local park w/ water sprinklers
By Jonna, 07/28/09
Over priced and the employees are not customer friendly. They are rude to children. While they closed a pool for 15 min. children would jump in not realizing it was closed and the employees would yell at them saying, "Don't you realize no one is swimming." First of all, children don't recognize that stuff and they shouldn't shout at the kids if there standing 2 feet away from the child. Employees allowed one to two children to go down at a time on the six person water slide ride. It took me 45min. to go down this ride w/ only about 15-20 people in line. I also don't care for the layout of the facility. It is way over priced. My family was only able to go down one water slide the entire day because we would have had to wait in a 30min line just to get an inner tube and an 1.5 hr wait to go down one water slide. NOT WORTH IT!

Good for families. Theres a kiddy water park there for the young ones, and the lazy river for the adults. Overall, I like it. Theres only one thing, the prices are a bit high.

Terrific Fun for the Entire Family
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/11/09
Golfland Sunsplash has plenty of activities to keep all ages happy. Grandma can float around the lazy river with the baby, while everybody else finds their favorite spot. The slides are amazing, and everything is kept clean, which I really appreciate. Lifeguards seem to take their jobs seriously, and I never have a worry. The little cars are fun for all ages, and since they don't bump into anyone, also safe! Season passes are a great value if you live close, and if not, it's a great place to spend the whole day...and half the night! Highly recommended.

great place..not so great prices
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/08
I do enjoy this place..i prefer it over raging waters as it has more rides and activities to offer i am not to keen on te prices however. it is pricey $25 for a genersal admission..but thats not what got me..its the season pass price..$99..i didnt even pay that much for my six flags pass. All in all ita a wonderful place to go several times through out the summer. They haev A water park, a large arcace, go-karts and mini golf..but unless you plan on going there alot throughout the summer i wouldn purchase a season pass.
