First staff was great, but they need to smile more. The downfall was the food was not hot-- luke warm. For the amount it costs it would of been nice to at least have a free non alcoholic beverage besides coffee and water with the meal. A dessert also would of been nice. They had the AC on so high it was warmer outside on the deck!!!

My company had their holiday party on the Spirit of Sacramento this year and it was the most fun I have had at a company event, ever! The food was good (I don't usually like buffet). The best was the music and dancing. Some of us got really crazy and the staff did a good job managing the group. They were very friendly, especially our bartender, Gary, and our DJ, Michael. I already booked for their New Years Eve cruise on their other boat, Island Girl. I can't wait, it's going to be awsome!

It was amazingly romantic. i really felt like we were the only 2 in the room. It did get load a few times but no one really got in anyone else's way. The food wasn't that great for the money we paid for. I was disappointed in that a lot. But the dancing and the feel of the environment was amazing. it was sweet and romantic. We had a wonderful time. the waiters were really friendly and one of them even started dancing with us. It was a blast. Id recommend it to anyone looking to spend some time alone and have sweet moments with their significant other. xoxo

I attended a private event aboard the Spirit of Sacramento and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was so attentive and the food was incredible!!! There was a DJ who was fantastic and played every song that we requested. Everyone had such a great time, I can't wait to do it again. I'm hoping our company will have our Christmas party on the boat this year.

Forget everything you have read up 'til now! The Spirit of Sacramento is under new management, gone through two whole years of renovation and has moved to the San Francisco Bay. Fully restored and clean and FUN. I've been on three cruises already, and can't wait for the next one. Great food, great music, and the crew are all friendly and five-star qualified. I highly recommend it. Everyone who gets on board is amazed at how comfortable and enjoyable it is...especially when we go to McCovey Cove during the Giants game!

We celebrated our son's rehearsal dinner on the Spirit of Sacramento. The staff from the sales office all the way down to the bus boys treated us like royalty. We were a little skeptical from a past event when the boats showed a lot of wear and tear. From our understanding the company in under new ownership, and a lot of upgrades have been made. The whole event was very memorable we will definitely be booking future events.

We celebrate my Sweetie's birthday on the Spirit of Sacramento every year. The Captain's Brunch Cruise is the best. Delicious, all you can eat brunch, champaign & mamosas. Relaxing for us and our guests! It's an annual tradition for us.

We did the 2 hour dinner cruise. It was a little cold inside. The food was great. The staff was nice, although they looked bored. I would definitely do it again. We had a great time.

We loved going down the river and seeing the sights. The drawbridge opened for us. There was a seal swimming around. It is just fun to see everything from a different perspective with good narrative.

The scenery was lovely! We thought we would also have a little history talk or some sort of presentation by a member of the crew. That did not happen. I went with a large group and the unsmiling crew looked stunned that we were there. Reservations HAD been taken care of long ago. The buffet was so disorganized and the food was poor. Wonder how they could cook chicken so dry.The paper plate awaiting each of us at the table should have been a clue. Fortunately, the group made the best of it but never would I recommend or go there again.Laughable! By the way the life jacket talk was humorous too. Never told us HOW to put them on if needed and that was good as the storage locker was behind the table with plates for the long line of folks waiting to get to the buffet! I hope the word spreads to the correct staff so that this could be a nicer addition to the Sacramento Old Town. If this doesn't change it will be the end of something that could be enjoyable.
