The worst thing you can say about this place is that you can't shop on line. That would be great, if they had a website. Looking for the unique, abstract or unusual? This is the place. Need a good gag gift, joke toy or rubberchicken? Look no further! Need a costume? There really is NO better place in Northern California!

We love this store and it is a must visit everytime we are in town!! It is always a new experience everytime with it's original items and creativity!!

My friends all told me that this was the place to go to get a costume. I went there and found everything that I was looking for. This place is awesome and I would go there every day if I got the chance. It was a fun atmosphere and not expensive either.

During an apparent very busy time I still received exceptional assistance from a new employee at this store. The evening of Monday, October 16th I visited this store and was surprised by the customer service given to me by an employee. She said it was her first day and yet she did everything to help me find the items I was looking for. The more seasoned employees did not seem interested in helping me but this dark haired young lady, whose name tag said Malice, was a refreshing surprise. Because of this hard-working and eager young lady I will definately shop at this interesting store again.

They have all costumes for all ages and i always find the perfect costumes for myself! The staff is helpful and friendly!!! I love to go there and see whats new, it so exciting!!!! :) Go and check it out for yourself!!!! :)

I personally loved what they sold. I just wanted to buy everything in the store !!!!!!! There are things that you can't find anywhere else and they are at low prices!! I bought lip balms shaped like SNAPPLE bottels and every time someone noticed they asked me where I got it and that it was so cool!! I LOVE EVANGELINE'S!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to take another trip to Sacramento so I can go to Evangeline's!!

This place is great for all my fellow Halloween lovers. It has three stories of every costume you could think of and then some, and all of the costumes are good quality otherwise "real costumes". I will drive the hour and twenty minutes it takes to get there every year, and I suggest you do the same.

I first went to Evangeline's many years ago when it was just a one floor shop of "novelties". In need of a "gag" gift or that "special something" to add to a collection? Evangeline's was the place to go. It is located on K Street in Old Sacramento. They also had "some" costume items... a funny mask or wig, an accessory that was hard to find.... and then the costume part kept expanding.....until one day, they added the upstairs and made that strictly costumes and named it their costume mansion....... It has anything and everything you might need to put together a spectactular costume. It's a "must" to visit if you are ever in the area. Whether you are looking for a costume or not, it is a fun place just to even browse through. You are sure to see many things that you won't see anywhere else!

when i first walked in i was like, "wow!!!" i was amazed i didnt know what to look at first my eyes were wide open and didnt want to miss a thing! i know i did though because there is just way too much you have to wait the second time you go to see everything! i just cant get enough of it!!! EVANGELINE'S YOU ARE THE BEST!

the only thing that i don't like about this store is that the costume mansion isn't open all year long. i love this place, you can find almost anything there. from gags and gifts, to costumes and accessories. it is enormous and packed wall to wall and all the way up them! you find things you can't find anywhere else!
