I loved that the staff would go out of their way to help me find what i was looking for. I also like the differnet kinds of merchadise that was offered at a good price.

an amazing selection of costumes, and nick nacks- high quality with reasonable prices. the only tough part was its popularity- we went on a saturday, and we were packed in like sardines.

The first floor is a boutique, second floor is all dark - blood, witches, vampires, vinyl - and the third floor is fantasy - characters, wigs and glitter. I haven't seen a selection like this before or since. The staff is great and knowledgeable, and the quality and value is outstanding!

i luv evangelines it's a great place they have many great things! i've known about evangelines since i was 5 my mother would always take me to old sac and all i would want to do is go to evangelines!

i like that you can spend an hour playing dress up and not one of the employes will give a damm not only that there are more costumes shirts and stuff then one person can take in on a single visit

As an avid fan of Halloween, this store has been a staple of mine for years. So much fun. I visit about 3 times a season just to take it all in.

this place is the best place to get a Halloween costume. The store is very organized so you will be able to find everything you need and more.

Evagelines is the best place to find your Halloween costumes! They have the best variety and all the accessories you need. Not to mention great props for your Halloween haunted house. The upstairs costume shop is only open after labor day up until Halloween. If you go on a weekend it's bound to be crowded, and sometimes a line out the door.

Now, keep in mind the atomosphere is fully exposed to any/all types of Halloween costumes and that is truly what makes it the best. So, if you are closed minded or find yourself getting offended easliy I suggest you go to the mall for a costume. Yes, it is pretty crowded and tourist don't know how to say "excuse me" but, other than that this shop is awesome!!!! I drive from Fairfield every year just to see the new and exciting costumes dispayed. The staff is qutie freindly and the overall experience will have you coming back.

What I liked best about Evangeline's was the vast selection of items they had to offer, at an affordable price for working class people like me. I bought gifts for everyone in my family and some for me too. The items that I purchased ranged from $00.50-(a pressed penny) to $16.00- (a scented soy candle) If one stop souvenir shopping for under a hundred dollars sounds appealing to you, don't miss out on Evangeline's! Oh yeah...they have awesome heavy duty shopping bags!
