Po Pazzo Bar & Grille
Sure our name, Po Pazzo, is Italian, but the food pays homage to the best urban bar and grille. Sound Crazy? That's what Po Pazzo means, just a little crazy. Our menu is filled with great appetizers, ample steaks, superb salads and unique side dishes. Our wonderfully extensive bar serves the best wines and liquors. Our staff is friendly and ready to serve. Eating out should be an experience: Part entertainment, part theater, and of course, all fun. That's what Po Pazzo ultimately represents; music, food and friends. Po Pazzo, a new kind of Bar and Grille by Busalacchi.
For downtown area...This is far and away the best Italian restaurant going. Great menu options, unique dishes, and a funky yet sophisticated atmosphere. Excellent service. Only issue is that it can get loud at times.
PoPazzo is sone of the restaurants you can depend on being good on all levels from atmosphere to food. Joe Busalacchi and his wife, when they are not in one of the other Busalacchi restaurants are great hosts and their staff work hard to provide good service.
Try the veal chop as it truly is as good as any in Chicago.
The Lady and I popped in to Popazzo for a drink while waiting for an unamed restaurant down the street to call us when our table was ready. As so happened, the other restaurant called my cell phone about 40 minutes later only to hear me plainly state that we no longer needed a table at their restaurant. We were here at Popazzo's to stay. On the outskirts of San Diego's Little Italy, Popazzo offered everything we wanted in tonight's passionate evening. The menu was stimulating and the pasta was al dente, enough said. In addition, the wine list was inspiring. Even though the lady and I basked in the joy of two fine Californian reds, We eyed some awesome Amorones, Barbarescos and Barolos on the wine list. To top it off, the live singer and pianist were spreading warm jazzy vibes throughout the entire joint all night. In conclusion, Popazzo has been my best Little Italy experience.
