Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant, Spearfish

The Guadalajara restaurants in Spearfish and Pierre SD are not only worth the food, the service is superb! I would put them up against ANY top restaurant I've eaten at on the East Coast !!! Cindy Grussing Geddes, SD

I love Guadies! If you're looking for a place where you need a wheel barrel just to roll you out because you couldn't stop eatting... this is your place! You get a LARGE amount of food for a very reasonable/cheap price! My husband and I love going here!! The owner is extremely friendly and supports the troops (which is a plus for this military family!) Very clean and friendly! If you get a margarita...watch out!! Just one can knock ya flat on your rear!

Traveled all over the US and come from SoCal and Texas where you get great Mexican food. I had the pork verde burrito and the pork was like dog food. The salsa with the chips was like bottled salsa. I will be traveling here a lot but will not return to this restaurant.

I wish I had been smart enough to get the names of the owners. They are a wonderful couple from Guadalajara, Mexico and the husband was a former professional in the National Soccer league there. So he has many photos of the teams the games that he played on and in! The atmosphere is wonderful if the building itself seems smallish! You are greeted immediately upon arriving in either English or Spanish. Seating is plentiful for such a small looking place…I think there must be some time-space thing going here! The menu is as full as any menu I have ever seen. Fully eight pages of choice after choice of true Mexican food and the meals we love up here in the USA. I am a tacoholic and theirs is one of the two best I have ever had in my lifetime. The burrito was too large for my friend to finish as one alone would be a meal to itself. My brother and his wife are regulars there and ordered what they love and they have never been even slightly disappointed. They come by the table often to see how things are going and always have some banter and fun with the customers. All the servers and the owners are truly kind and humorous people and make the dining even that much nicer. My only complaint (other than they need more parking) is I could not come every day of my vacation. This is now my favorite place to dine in all the USA. On leaving they even let me play around with the my lame high school Spanish and dumbed theirs way down so I could converse a bit in Spanish! I give it both thumbs up and if I had more thumbs I’d give them too!

Amazing food, seafood burrito and chicken fajitas were to die for. Don't miss this authentic mexican restaurant if ever in Spearfish, SD. The decor of the restaurant was fun, very colorful. Yummy, yummy, yummy.....

The food is traditional Mexican done right, served and prepared by people that haven't been out of Mexico that long. Prices are very reasonable. Service can be excellent or slow depending on the night.

guadas is like the best mexican place ive been...besides matzlan in wa...but still the service is great...being they come from a different country....food is EXCELLENT....prices are sooooo agreeable...salsa is superb!!!! try it out...im a long time guadalajaras customer and always will be!!!!
