A long heritage of Scottish settlement in Tasmania sees the occasional Scottish theme creeping into local attractions, especially around Ross. In fact, Tasmania has its very own tartan. Visitors to this center will find all things Scottish mixed with some local products. The Tasmanian Scottish Centre is well stocked with clothing, books, whiskey, jewelery and crafts, both locally made and imported from Scotland.
