Britain's largest Anglican Cathedral boasts of the highest Gothic arches and heaviest ring of bells; with the magnificent tower enhancing the city's skyline. The foundation stone was laid in 1904 and the building of this epic landmark continued until 1978. In addition to traditional services, there are also a number of concerts, exhibitions, recitals and graduation ceremonies held here. Within the gallery, visitors can view a unique collection of Victorian and Edwardian embroidery and tours of the Cathedral are arranged on request. The entry to the Cathedral is free, while a fee is charged for visits to the Embroidery Collection.

If you are in Liverpool, this Cathedral is a must to see! I was on a one-day visit from London and popped in for lunch, but will definitely come back to spend more time exploring this fascinating building and tower. The atmosphere inside is one of calm and it was easy to reflect on things. Such a warm friendly place.
