Croxteth Park Riding Centre, Liverpool

Croxteth seems like a nice riding school on first impressions, however, the yard staff are rude, the instructors dont care about the clients or ponies, just about getting paid, and the ponies are badly turned out and naughty. after visiting wheathill riding school in netherley, i found that croxteth had extremely low standards. lessons are cancelled in the rain, as tehy dont have an indoor!!

i love it there and a love pye he is the best pony ever. i love all the new ponys to. the pony club is sooooooo much fun and i love camp. the teachers are really kind. i have been goin for 6 years. it is amazin. kate t...!

croxteth riding is great because i go on the 1hr lesson on sundays at 3 o clock and find everything we do totally amazing things like trotting, cantering 20 metre circles. i ride polo every week and he's my star in me eye. i never 4 get him and will never ever forget him. he's also my best friend in the whole wide world. i also love belle, squirell, poppy, bell, mal, oliver, ruby and sid. sid is retireing this next summer and will miss him very much, but its the best thing for hime as he is very olg.ahhh. hannah young 10

im faye marsden i go on tursday at 4:30 eery week and i have been going for a yea.My favourite horse ever is my likkle baby is Piglet obviously, i am hoping to get him on my nextday course, next friday!!!my second one, i really want piglet because last time i got saon my fae mare ,but shes slow soooo...well ok ,but any i have been beging mellissa. i hope viv gives me him last time i fell off so thats why had shannon, but i stil loved and wanted him, hes just to cute but i like his personality too. crockie is a really good riding centre and they be fair to wich horses you get on day courses and stuff, because i fell off and it would've been dangerous to go on him aain. i ride piglet regularly and he loves me as much as i love him , next year going to be a helper yay!!!cant wait , cat wait to join pony club either!!! So if anyone is thinking of riding crockie is the place to go the instucters are nice, the horses are naughty wich is good because they improve your riding(well piglets a little speedy and some are slow i meant by naghty!) and the atmosphere is just happy and fun , theres allways things to and your allwaysprovided with help when needed so why not go its fun, its exiting and youll allways be fecited(very exited)to go so ignore those anoying people who say its bad and join. i love croxteth park because i know what the horses are like. i also like it because the yard staff are my friends. i like the ponies and horses because they are brilliant riding ponies and they are also my best friends. we usually have a laugh when me and my friends are on my lesson because bramble itches her bottom on the post. but i feel very sad that she has a bad allergic reaction. and when i was on pony club camp there was a very big jump with black poles and squirell could fit under them. i have been riding for over a year now and ive earnt a lot of badges through riding. enen my bronze 3 & 2. i hope croxteth park runs for centurys because they dont deserve to close down since its been brilliant. from hannah y

i love this place because they are helping me to ride and the horses are the best i have seen ever they really care and vivian holds pony club days where people under 25 for can go and ride for 2 hours and groom ponies while learning how to care for ponies and i would say well done vivian and staff for caring for these ponies and riders!

I did like this place when i first came. I rode weekly. But now it just is to packed in the lessons and you do learn stuff but you dont move on as quick as the riding cebtre i go to now. You stay on trotting for months on end. My cousin worked there on Saturday and she liked it when she started but now she thinks it is to much work. She has moved to a different stables too, where i go too. The people there a re lovely and the horses are FAB!

i hate croxteth park riding centre it is the worst riding centre ever and is owned by a horrible and evil person called viv i would never go there again as i did not enjoy it and it is to dear because every week you do the same i would never go to croxteth park as it is horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a student in Liverpool and have been riding for many years. Having spent a few weeks at Croxteth I can firmly say they are an amazing yard, the horses and ponies are amazing and the staff will help you out in anyway that they can!! They will match you with ponies that suit you perfectly and even if the weather means that you cannot have an lesson, they will offer you a hack which means you can get to know your pony on a one-one basis and get the chance to talk to other people on your ride. On the lessons that i have had, i can say that the instructors are willing to take things at your own pace... and the ponies are WONDERFUL... although i have only rode Rowan, Oliver, Polo, Cole and Banjo lol go to Croxteth, stick with them and you will LOVE it

hi i wish people would stop talking bad about the instuctors and the helpers because the helpers run round all day trying to help everyone and the helpers know they dont get paid they knew it before they signed up to be a helper i used to have yvet and she is amazin i have angie now my favs r max and mcduff i am going to be a helper soon and if i like it i will do it every weekend hopefullly i luv the horses and ponies and instructorse and helpers they always make sure that the stables are clean and that the horses are well groomed plus the helpers get free lessons so that is why they dont get paid luv u max mcduff and solo xxxxxxxxx i recommend this riding centre to every one xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
