So far so good
By ty, 6/6/10
After reading many horrible reviews on several sites, I was a little apprehensive about coming here with my family but we got a great deal through the military's MWR and decided to go ahead. So far, I haven't found anything negative (except no coffee maker or refrigerator - so we're forced to buy coffee :) But all else is decent. We have a few days left and I'll update should there be any changes but I would definitely come back.

Good choice for a stay
By Robert, 5/25/10
What I liked most was the price. Paid $44 for 3 people for a night. Very clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was good to very good; worth the money. Only been to Reno twice, but I like the more relaxed, family friendly atmosphere over Las Vegas. I would stay there again. My only complaint is poor reception on many of the TV stations.

Made me want to take a shower after going in
By bonnie j, 5/7/10
Without a doubt this was the worst looking and cheapest looking hotel on the strip it is also located in the rundown area of the strip. I notice after the Wynn the strip looks seadier as it goes along. The only reason i went in was for the free circus show but that was a dispointment there is only one act every 45 minutes so you have to either wait a long ass time to see the complete show or come back every 45 minutes or so.

It Was Fun
By Labonitagirl, 4/29/10
We went for our anniversary. We where there for 5 nights. We where in the main tower wich is the new tower we later found out. Some friend where there and they where in the older tower there room was not that nice and it was a non-smoking room and the hall smelled really bad like smoke and there room smelled some as we. So if you do end up going ask for the new tower rooms they are alot better and at lest if they are non-smoking rooms your room as well as your hall way dose not smell like smoke. The wether was beutiful we went in April (they said it was going to rain (it never did) lol). The one thing we all said it was not that great was the Buffet the food tasted like it had been sitting there for some days and some were way over cooked plus it was very expenseve for what you have to choose from would not go there agien to eat. Loved the shows every half hour(you need to get there almost as soon as one show ends to get a set if you want to sit it gets full very fast).

Horrendous Hotel
By veneryp, 3/2/10
I must say there was not much I liked at this hotel. I'm not a gambler so I basically went for the sight-seeing experience. I was locked out of my room not once, but twice (two different rooms). The first room I was locked out by security. * I had no knowledge of this, no once consulted me about it. Then they moved us to an "upgraded" room. The walk to any of the rooms is at least a half a mile, so to get to the other side of the original room to the upgraded room, took more than 1/2 hour. It was horrible horrible. Then the "upgraded room", well again locked out. The food, well I really wouldn't recommend it. It's bland, non tasty.......... the only restaurant I didn't try at this hotel was the "steak house". The buffet, very limited choice, Mexi-talia....... LOL..... what was that?

By Brandon Turner, 2/27/09
The rooms were horrid, the elevators were scary i thought they were going to break down, the service was poor, whining screaming kids go figure cause vegas aint a place for kids, overpriced bar, dirty hallways, creepy clowns, overpriced giftstands and annoying people that try to stop you everytime you walk by and boring rundown casino inside but the hotel price was good and pizza there was great!!!!

Service Good, Room Poor
By Gabby, 1/22/09
I loved Circus Circus, It was amazing, the people are friendly and theres tons to do, but I must say when it came to the rooms, it was sad... I will have to say it was the worst matress I had ever lept on in my entire life, I had springs digging into my back all night. Def was not a good morning after sleeping on the beds. I had to put my bed spread underneath me to try and atempt to make it alittle more relaxing, didnt work to well. All in all Circus Circuse is a great and freindly place to stay, they just really need to do some updating on there rooms. Oh and the Slots of Fun, is absolutly AMAZING!!! I recomend if you dont stay there, at least check the place out on your visit, its great!

Pleasantly Surprised..
By J, 11/26/08
My husband and I were a bit nervous before we arrived but, the hotel was very nice and the rooms were simple but comfortable. Buffet was tasty unfortunately no sushi or crab legs like you may expect. AdventureDome was fun. We strongly reccomend the advanced check in. Downside would be contantly being approached by Tahiti Village timeshare people.
