Magic Carpet Golf, Reno

We travel from Carson City several times a season to play with friends and/or family. There are enough different kinds of holes it doesn't get boring. More fun, though a bit shabbier, than Wild Island. Compares favorably to Roseville, Fresno, Modesto. Lots of trees, some running water.

This miniature golf course is very cool. Although the figures (i.e. the dinosaur, the geinie, etc) were worn and needed updating, we didn't care. The magic carpet mini golf was one of the best parts of our last vacation and one of the reasons we had to return to Reno this year. There is a pizza restaurant inside (well, there was in 2004) as well as video games. I recommend you at least check it out to see if it's a place for you, it definatly was a place for us! If I remember correctly, it's on the main street of Reno but farther down the road than the "main" downtown area.
