This structure was formerly the U.S. Post Office built in 1891 and the first Federal building erected in Nevada. It is located in the center of the Carson City Historic District and the operational clock tower is a distinctive feature. The offices for Nevada Magazine are also housed here. You can find many free brochures and information to prepare for your visit to the valley and Lake Tahoe. It is one of the most impressive buildings in town and definitely worth a visit.
