Fremont Street Experience, Las Vegas

Not worth the time to go. Light show? It was a COMMERCIAL!!! Very disappointing. The only good thing is the cheapy touristy shops you can pick up knick knacks for home. And that's it! Waste of time - don't go. Seedy area, ghastly crowd.

We only spent about an hour on Freemont Street due to our departing flight but it was fantastic and I wish we had gone earlier during our trip. Only thing in Vegas I liked better was the fountains at the Bellagio. We didn't get to see the actual light show part (I think it's under construction until fall??) but just seeing old Vegas was wonderful: truly what I pictured prior to my visit. The casinos are slightly worn but much friendlier and I won more $$ ;) Will definitely plan to spend more time there on my next trip.

Okay- you do not go to Freemont Street to shop for designer handbags, but if you are with a fun group of people and looking for a cheap day of entertainment this is the place. You can almost get a gallon of beer for $2 and the food is pretty good and super cheap. All the vendors are really inviting. If you have a long weekend it is worth checking this out. The light show is cool, but nothing compared to the Billagio, but hey can't complain because it's FREE!

Louisiana ladies are coming again. 15 years plus. We used to make our home at the westward ho, now our new home is at the 4-queens and have a great time. The atmosphere down freemont is awsome, the food delicious and the service can't be beat. The freemont experience speaks for itself, an experience you should see. we feel comfortable and safe staying there.This is a mother's and daughter's trip. Our ages range from 45-78. Should be a law everyone should vegas. hahaha. See ya'll in September!!! we miss ya'll at the 4-queens. Joy

I liked it because is was so ALIVE!!! The energy was great and the lighting was out of this world!!! It was just not enough transportation to get back to the strip but well worth the long wait to get on the double decker bus.

Didn't really like the atmosphere (I like the main strip much better). I wasn't all that impressed with the show. I thought it was boring and it hurt my neck to look up the whole time. Although, my dad was there with me and he absolutely loved it. Go figure.

We went to Fremont on our last full day in Vegas. As it turned out, it was the BEST time we could imagine, and you could not find a pricy restaurant/store around (thank goodness). The light show is nothing like we have ever seen again. The casinos had people standing outside quick to offer Mardi Gras beads to entice you inside. Overall their slot machines paid quite a bit more than anything we experienced on the strip. The free drinks keep coming (they want you to get drunk so you spend more LOL) and you can buy a "football" filled with your favorite alcoholic beverage. If you're someone who would rather skip the uptight, overpriced atmosphere of the strip, then this is the place for you. Busing was fairly easy to get back and forth to Fremont, and we definitely want to visit again.

Fremont Street is not worth the time! The show is nothing more than a large MTV dance video. It used to be entertaining and patriotic but now simply girls in small outfits.

My first time there after several other trips to Las Vegas in past years. The time spent there was absolutely breathtaking since the show was so realistic and all the people there were also enjoying it as much as I was which made it extra special. Another wonders of Las Vegas that should not be missed. Viva Las Vegas!!!
