Chapel of the Bells
You may have seen this wedding location before as it is featured in several movies including Vegas Vacation, Honeymoon in Vegas and Indecent Proposal. The little chapel provides a full range of weddings from small to ornate. Seating is limited to perhaps 25 people. Couples can exchange vows in the chapel or enjoy a garden wedding. Services offered includes videos, organist, flowers, rings, photos, limousine, even the tuxedo or gown.
I just wanted to take a moment and tell everyone how chapel of the bells made our night special. My husband and I decided to correct what your staff categorized as "fixing a mistake". That was the coolest way of saying getting remarried. The staff was so accommodating, and the chapel was quaint and clean. Our trip ended so pleasant because of YOU! No reservation needed. The cost was right in line with all the other competitors. Visiting 1 of the other companies, we were so relieved when entering your establishment. Thank you. Mr. and Mrs. D
In 2010 we paid for our daughter and son in law to get married at Chapel of the Bells. Thought it was going to be awesome, but instead it was more expensive than what it was worth. It was a nice place. First of all they charged us twice for the deposit and they said when we got there to have them deduct the second deposit from the total of the package. We weren’t allowed to take pictures at all. We got the package that had pictures but you only get two poses. They took 80 pictures. Then they offered us the CD with all the pictures for $345.00. Might have been worth it if they were more professional about it. It was a blank CD given to us right then and there. I bought them anyway. I had to crop them and make them more professional. Once they got their printed photos in the mail they gave them 4 photos of the same pose instead of two different poses. We complained and they sent us the right photos and they sent a few extras to make up for the trouble. Was supposed to get a boutonniere for the groom but they didn't give him one. at least got the bouquet. I complained that they should not be allowed to charge $345 for a plain cd of the pictures that it should be on one with their logo. They told me they would send me one when they got their CDs but i told them not to bother I was just making a statement they need to be more professional. The female minister didn't even crack a smile the whole time almost as if she just wanted the day to be over with. All in all, it's nice but would not recommend it to any of my friends. Cost us over $700 for something we thought was only $300 tops. Expensive and so not worth it. A friend of mine also got married there a year earlier and at that time they just took photos on a 35 mm camera then gave her the films and told them to get them developed but the photos were awful so I guess I shouldn’t complain because the digital pictures are better.
We were married on Valentines Day, 2012 and couldn't have had a more perfect experience. We were picked up exactly on time and driven to the Chapel by a very friendly and professional driver who provided much information about the city. The minister asked a question that we felt was very important, "Are you here for a wedding or to get married." We were there to get married! He was wonderful! The staff couldn't have been more friendly, warm, gracious and at the same time professional! The photographer did a beautiful job on the photo's! Honestly, we couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience and I don't think we would question our choice of getting married at the Chapel of the Bells.
My husband and I were married at Chapel of the Bells in 2003. We were very young and on a budget. The minister was wonderful. The chapel was exactly what we were looking for at the time. I don't know if standards have gone down since then but we were happy with our experience.
1 They over charged my credit card causing it to block hence i was stranded in Vegas with no money
2. they added fees and services without my authorisation therefore giving ME A REDICULOUS BILL AT THE END
3.THE PHOTOS ARE SERIOUSLY OVERPRICED AND GOODLUCK TRYING TO PURCHASE THEM AFTER THE SERVICE
We loved this place! The driver, his name is Chris, was friendly, funny and went out of his way to tell us about Las Vegas and show us how to get to places and the best places to go. When we arrived at the Courthouse to get our license, someone on the street outside said, "You've got the best driver!" He escorted us to the window, waited for us and took us to the chapel. The woman at the chapel was very nice and they even waited for my mother, who was running late due to traffic. The minister gave us a beautiful, very heartfelt ceremony, leaving a place for us to say our specific vows to each other. Every single moment from him picking us up to dropping us off was wonderful and memorable! Yes, they charged us slightly more than we expected due to taxes and fees. Yes, they gave us two envelopes to tip the minister and driver. But they did not tell us how much to put in them. The end result: a great experience for under $300. We have nothing to complain about and would recommend this chapel to anyone! Thank you Chapel of the Bells! Jackie and Chris - 3/28/11, 8pm.
Married in July 2010 in the chapel. The staff was very friendly. The language difficulties were treated very patiently. Special thanks to Kris and Payton are also very helpful to us.
The chapel can safely recommend it to everyone, I wish them all the best.
Sincerelly, your friends from Europe: Ildikó and Zoltán
Hi, We would like to let you all know what a great service you all gave us on our wedding day 10/10/10. We know that it was a very busy day for you. Everything for us was wonderful from the driver who picked us up from the lady in the photo services. Thank you all !!!
We got married in April this year and booked everything From Canada via phone. When we got there the cermony part was fine, but all at once we had to pay extra for this and that, which we didn't order. Then being handed two envelopes and being told what to put in them was a disgrace. The wedding eneded up costing us $300.00 more than what was quoted.
We were told that our friends can take pictures during the cermony but when we got there they said NO.
I was told that we can review and order pictures on their website starting Sept 1, but there is nothing there. just another scam.
