Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat, Las Vegas

My and girlfriend and I recently spent seven days in Vegas, one of the things we had planned to do months in advance was to be Dolphin Trainers for a day, at the Mirage Dolphin Habitat, if you are thinking about doing it, but not sure about the price tag, trust me it's worth it. You spend about 9 hours with the Dolphins and trainers and see tons of behind the scenes stuff you could never imagine. You also get tons of interaction with all the Dolphins, it was definitley an experience like no other.

I loved the dolphin habitat it was a must while in vegas for one i am a dolphin lover any thing that has to do with these beautiful creatures im very interested in, i like learning and watching how they were cared for and the how they interact with there care givers, it just a wonderful experience, i wish one day that i could have the chance to work with amazing animals, this was a good facitilty to see displays of knowledge of the dolphin world would tell others that if ever in vegas to surly stop there to see this first hand.

I loved seeing the Baby dolphin swim right along it's momma. We also had a weird experience seeing the dolpihns give urine specimens. It was not very exciting there. The trainers do little tricks with them for about 5 minutes every 45 minutes. It is very hot and rustic in there. The tanks aren't special in anyway. The tickets were very expensive. $50 for family of 4. If you love dolphins then worth the expense.

I enjoyed everything. They even had a baby calf (dolphin) while I was there that was recently born. They don't do shows, but if you go, you don't know what to expect. And the lions were just as nice.

We were not expecting to stay more than an hour at the Secret Garden; we ended up staying the entire afternoon. Watching the animals, particularly the dolphins, was a marvelous break from the glitter and glam of LV.

I just loved it and had a wonerful time! It was a great expierence and I would go back in a heartbeat. Everyone was so nice as well as being very informative and very knowledgable. Dont miss this one!

loved the natural setting/atmosphere ,no loud disturbing microphones that are usually attached .so close tothe dolphins we could almost touch them, but did't feel the need to.

I went in June with my sister and we absolutly loved it, we were able to see the newborn dolfin swimming with his or hers mom and dad!! And the LIONS AND TIGERS OH MY!! I can't wait to go back!

I came across more than one review saying that this was a waste of money, but I suspect that these were from people who were disappointed by the lack of a choreographed show such as Sea World's. The dolphins are highly visible, with a large lagoon topside which you can stand right next to and several windows below water level which give a view of the entire lagoon area. The dolphins' "trainers" interact with them several times a day and the dolpins respond to hand signals and even get out of the water from time to time. The big cats are farther back in an area with large amounts of shade and several misters, making for a nice break from the blazing Vegas sun. This is a research and breeding facility, so I wasn't expecting a big show and was pleased with the chance to see the animals from several angles and get out of the sun. I didn't regret the fifteen bucks it cost me. If you're expecting major scenery and big tricks, though, skip it.

Couldn't believe that a place so lovely and peaceful was in the heart of Las Vegas. It was beautiful. Our funniest memory of Vegas came from there when a man kept taunting a tiger. Don't worry... the tiger got even by spraying the man... We laughed until we cried.
