Candlelight Wedding Chapel, Las Vegas

My husband and I were married there in March of 84 and have been married and happy every since. Our Daughter is planning a Vegas wedding and was wanting to marry there. I just read these comments and hear it's not there any more and I was so sad. It would have been so great to have been able to see her get married there.

We loved the feel, the look, the history we eloped in 2002 he is my bestfriend . I am going back this february very excited!!!

The chapel was OK. Got married here in 2001 and divorced 8 months later.

My husband Art and I were married March of 1981 at the Candlelight Chapel...we will me celebrating 30 years in March. He was in Vegas this Superbowl weekend and found that it wasn't there. Glad I checked this website because we plan on going to Vegas for our 30th and visiting the place that we were married in. It was a small little chapel that accommodated my family that attended that day, I will never forget. Just sadden that it's no longer in it's location as it was there for so many years. Grace Tapia

My husband and I got married there nine years ago. It was a beautiful ceremony. I thought I was going crazy when we actually moved to Las Vegas and I thought I'd drive by and see it, but saw the Wynn there instead. it wasnt until late one night a few months later I learned about its history and that it had been moved to the Clark County Museum. Dont be sad it's gone, go visit it, I am next month.

My husband and I exchanged our vows at Candlelight Wedding Chapel in the late 1970s. It was a very private ceremony (we eloped), and all these years later I have fond, wonderful memories of my wedding. My husband has since passed, yet I always celebrate one of the best days of my entire life. It was my husband's idea to marry in Las Vegas. He researched the fastest places to marry. When someone asked why he was in such a hurry he told them he wanted to start living his life. How could I not love him?! Gordon Gust helped facilitate our ceremony--he took care of the details. If I ever go to Henderson I shall look for the Chapel. I believe I read on this site in the comments that Henderson is the new location of the Chapel. On TV I saw the Neon Museum in Las Vegas and saw the sign. That touched my heart. Great memories.

My husband and I were married there 28 years ago, October 8, 1982. We have great memories and loved our wedding. We are still together and strong as ever. We are returning for New Years and had hope to visit. I am so sad it is no longer there.

My husband and I got married there in May 2003, they did a great ceremony and the limo that picked us up didn't have all that cheesy writing on the side. We didn't realize it had been moved until we went last year to Vegas and were going to take our picture in front of it.

WOULD OF LIKED TO SEE IT. 9/11 HAPPENED AND OUR WEDDING WAS 9/21. EVERYTHING WAS CRAZY. NO ONE WANTED TO FLY. WE HAD TO GET MARRIED ON THE BEACH, HOME TOWN, SARASOTA, FL. WENT FROM 70 TO 10 PEOPLE AND IT WAS STILL THE BEST DAY AND WE NOW HAVE 2 BOY'S AND ARE HAPPY!!! I WILL STILL PLAN TO GO TO LAS VAGAS TO RE-NEW OUR VOW'S WITH ANOTHER HONEY MOON. EVERY YEAR ON OUR ANNV. WE DO A HONEY MOON. STILL HAVE THE BUTTERFLIES AND THE LOVE

Talk about spontaneity, I asked and she said yes, that's all i needed to hear on October 31st. 2004 Yes, we got married on Halloween to pay tribute to the ones that we loved the most, but have left us. we almost did not make it in time we might have turned into a pumpkin (honest to God) . Sad to hear the place is no longer there as well as we are no longer together..no fault of The Candle Light.
