Floyd Lamb State Park
Description
Once known as Tule Springs Ranch, Floyd Lamb State Park not only has picnic areas and scenic paths but also provides four stocked ponds where fishing is permitted with a Nevada Fishing License. The park encompasses 2,040 acres and houses volleyball and horseshoe facilities. The first use of this land was as a watering hole for both Native Americans and prospectors. In the 1930-40s, the Ranch was a popular place for movie stars and others who wanted to take advantage of Nevada's liberal divorce laws and six-month residency requirement.
