Shark Reef, Las Vegas

There was entirely way too many people allowed inside at once & was way over priced. Literally you are front to back with people looking at these poor animals keep in 5'x5' tanks and cages it was unethical. The air was humid and hot with everyone’s exhales; zero oxygen. All the people involved where rude including the staff who would rush people like cattle into this place. I will never take my family here ever again nor would I recommend it to anyone. On the other hand the only aspect of the whole experience I did enjoy seeing was the shocking signs posted on the walls about over population and over fishing; if additional signs where posted everywhere in this world it might make people more aware of what’s going on!!!!!

The aquarium was not worth the hefty price of $18. You can walk the whole thing in under 10 min. You are better off walking into for local pet store. The 30 dollars for a t-shirt was the icing on the cake.

I personally didn't feel that the experience was worth the 18$ price I paid. The tour was short and boring.

We just got married in the Shark Reef and it was so great! Formal yet casual, the services all around were easy going and affordable. We didn't have much money for a wedding, and our family and friends felt it was one of the best and least boring weddings ever! So cool, and classy as you want it to be. Best idea ever.

Like: Very fancy looking aquarium, the last room, designed as if you were inside a sunken ship, was great. Dislike: It's too short, too few sitting places. Expensive souvenir photo USD 20 + tax for one -1- photo. Rude staff (I was referred to as "the short fat one" by one of the staff photographers to my face).

Likes - wand that you carry and hold to your ear vs. reading the signs, line was not long, clean Dislikes - for 3 adults it cost 50.00, it was very small - didnt take long to go through, the fish are pretty small - I am guessing that if you want big fish you have to grow them yourself??

So, this Reef is tiny, has only about a handful of baby sharks and before you know it, you're near the exit. It's over!

Compared to a real aquarium like the one at Epcot at Disneyworld, this is very disapointing. Big waste of money. There promo picture is a scam. They give you the impressiong that you are walking under a big aquarium, when it is just a hallway with a small amount of water on the sides. It takes only a few minutes to walk through it. It takes more time to walk throug there gift shop. Very small, tacky theming, with very fake plants.

Are you kidding? We should have respected the other reviewers and not gone to the Shark Reef. It's very small and what you see are a few fish, some sharks, and a couple of other sea creatures. They advertise sea turtles - where were they? This is the main reason we went. We waited, and waited, and waited and then when we asked, we were told the turtles were probably sleeping in the rocks. What? I don't see how 1 sea turtle could reside in that small aquarium, much less 3! Been there, done that, sorry we went!!
