Description

This truly amazing state-of-the art aquarium has sharks, alligators, monitor lizards, sea turtles, and other amazing creatures living in more than 1,000,000 gallons of salt water at the Mandalay Bay Resort. There is also a remarkable jellyfish display with black lights. This is a must-see exhibit for the whole family.

Okay place for tourists

I think its a good place to visit when you go for the first time to Vegas. At least to kill some time when you get a little bored with the gambling. Be sure to buy your souvenir photos!

The place is awesome, you all gotta go there, Top Marks. The people who work there really know what they talking about ,,its well priced ,good value for your money,, a must see.

At last, something truly interesting to see in Vegas

If you like aquariums, go visit Shark Reef. Finally they put the money that so freely flows in Vegas into something educative and productive.

Long walk

too expensive.last hotel we visited.long walk for nothing. the casino and hotel were almost empty except for about 25 people. took the tram back.

When you've seen everything else...

Never mind that it took a good 20 minutes just to find the reef, but we spent over thity bucks for a look at a large fish tank. I really thought that given the images on the bilboards and signs that the size of the sharks would have been a lot more impressive. Granted it was only myself and my husband, and young kids would have enjoyed themselves much more. But I really felt like I wasted my money and could have seen the same thing at my local zoo.

The overall set up is great. The price is very affordable. That's surprising considering that it's on the strip.
