Not worth the price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/28/11
I personally didn't feel that the experience was worth the 18$ price I paid. The tour was short and boring.

Best time ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/6/11
We just got married in the Shark Reef and it was so great! Formal yet casual, the services all around were easy going and affordable. We didn't have much money for a wedding, and our family and friends felt it was one of the best and least boring weddings ever! So cool, and classy as you want it to be. Best idea ever.

NOT reccomended
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/24/11
Like: Very fancy looking aquarium, the last room, designed as if you were inside a sunken ship, was great. Dislike: It's too short, too few sitting places. Expensive souvenir photo USD 20 + tax for one -1- photo. Rude staff (I was referred to as "the short fat one" by one of the staff photographers to my face).

Objects may appear bigger in the advertisment...
By roxie, 10/9/10
Likes - wand that you carry and hold to your ear vs. reading the signs, line was not long, clean Dislikes - for 3 adults it cost 50.00, it was very small - didnt take long to go through, the fish are pretty small - I am guessing that if you want big fish you have to grow them yourself??

Disappointing Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay :/
By Tanya, 6/20/10
So, this Reef is tiny, has only about a handful of baby sharks and before you know it, you're near the exit. It's over!

Not much more interesting than a pet store
By Thanku4playing, 6/8/10
Compared to a real aquarium like the one at Epcot at Disneyworld, this is very disapointing. Big waste of money. There promo picture is a scam. They give you the impressiong that you are walking under a big aquarium, when it is just a hallway with a small amount of water on the sides. It takes only a few minutes to walk through it. It takes more time to walk throug there gift shop. Very small, tacky theming, with very fake plants.

Don't Waste Time or Money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/13/10
Are you kidding? We should have respected the other reviewers and not gone to the Shark Reef. It's very small and what you see are a few fish, some sharks, and a couple of other sea creatures. They advertise sea turtles - where were they? This is the main reason we went. We waited, and waited, and waited and then when we asked, we were told the turtles were probably sleeping in the rocks. What? I don't see how 1 sea turtle could reside in that small aquarium, much less 3! Been there, done that, sorry we went!!

Waste of money
By Chase, 11/21/09
This was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on any form of entertainment. The only thing worth looking at is the very last tank ( there's probably just 10 tanks total no lie) my whole group was severely dissappointed. You see better aquariums at free attractions or a small zoo. Spend the ticket price for dinner at a restaurant with a fish tank because at least you will get dinner out of it. I've never written a review on any place I've been, but I was compelled to warn others of this dissappointment. We just left and I'm typing from my phone so I apologize for any misspellings. Anyways it's only worth five to seven bucks so unless you get free tickets don't bother wasting your money- you'll get a bigger thrill from putting all the money you wouldve spent on tickets on one hand at a card table- if you're not a gambler- buy souveniers or see another attraction instead. The people claiming "well.. It IS the desert so I guess it's hard to get an aquarium etc" it's no excuse- there is soooo much money spent on entertainment in this town it's unbelieveable. Also with the ticket prices for this attraction bieng so high, they can afford to add more tanks. I was soo excited to go and so beyond dissappointed with this place- I wish I wouldve read the reviews before we went and we couldve just used the money to visit a zoo aquarium instead. Please heed my advice- it's a waste of money that you and your family could use on something else.
