Red Rooster Antique Mall, Las Vegas

I'm new to Vegas & found Charleston Antique mall nearby where I work. Most local residents still confuse the mall & call it Red Rooster. The Red Rooster is just a small store stacked with over-priced junk and most people don't know to drive around the corner to the Charleston store that split from affiliations with the Red Rooster last year. Charleston Antique Mall is a hodgepodge of items from new to old collectibles & antiques sold by 40 different dealers. The best treasures can be found digging at the bottom of shelves & under cabinets throughout the mall. The deals are sometimes unbelievable since many of the dealers sell low if they find the items low to begin with.

i read loads of reviews of the red rooster barn but when i got there it was nothing like the description, just a small, downmarket, dirty second-hand place. luckily it was pointed out to me that there was another antiques mall just round the corner, and i think this is the original red rooster, now called charleston aniques mall at 307 w charleston bvd. this DOES live up to original reviews, huge place with lots of different stalls and rooms, prob about 40 in all. i was there good 2 hours and could have spent longer. so please, don't head for red rooster, instead go to the charleston. they're also lovely people, very helpful.

i have lived in vegas for 18 years and have visited the rooster a number of times. If you have someone who is difficult to buy a gift for, this is the place to find it. Unusal, fun and a very interesting place to walk though. give yourself time though because it is pleasently cluttered and you don't want to miss that little something that maybe hiding. a little difficult getting into, but once you get there, the hunt has only just begun! thanks kim helm

This is a little tricky to get to. You can see it from the street, but the highway divider makes you around to get to it. Well worth the effort. Full of fantastic finds. You won't be disappointed.

I live in Henderson and I love going to the Red Rooster. When we bought our house I wanted an island in my kitchen. I went to the Red Rooster and stopped in my tracks, there it was, a wonderful old prep table from one of the Casino's that had been imploded. The owner thought it was the Sands but not sure. What a great addition to my kitchen. It's 5X2.5 all steel with a 3in. thick piece of butcher block on top. I left all the chop marks and burns right where they were. Painted the steel and it's great. Very resonable price also. I've bought several things there including an old metal bread box from the 30's and redid that, and many other things. They are so helpful and patient. I love just wondering around and finding gems of all kinds. Old kitchen tools, iron skillets and you name it. take a lunch because you will be there a while.

My God; what a GREAT place! Once I finally figured out how to get to it, I was SO glad I made the effort to get there. There is every kind of "antique" there: from the old stuff to the new stuff. There is so much great Retro & vintage stuff- more than any other mall in Vegas. There's even a whole room devoted to Tikis and Pin-Ups! Wow, this mall has it all! The prices are so much less than California, too. It was a breath of fresh air to find so much that was affordable instead of financially out of my reach. The dealers there were so friendly, too! I just can't say enough good stuff about this place. Make it a priority to stop there when you go to Vegas next time. You won't be dissappointed!
