Located at the top of the Rio Hotel , Voodoo Cafe & Lounge offers some of the most spectacular views of Las Vegas. Diners will enjoy the subdued lighting and elevated booth seating in the restaurant. The nightclub offers all varieties of hard liquor, wines and beers. Menu selections include Backfin blue crab cake, frog legs and Louisiana oysters. An excellent choice is the porterhouse steak with Jack Daniels sauce or the grilled black pepper chicken. There is also a small gift shop where you can purchase a logo T-shirt, or even a "voodoo doll" complete with pins. This fun spot opens at 5p daily.

This was the WORST place I have EVER been to
By Angel C, 08/04/08
The restaurant is very scenic, but the food is horrible. The waiter filled our glasses with water that tasted like a dirty dishrag, that was our first indicator... There was very little selection that looked appetizing... We ordered Lobster Bisque and Coconut Shrimp appetizer that was frozen fried shrimp with some coconut sprinkled on top. They first delivered our appetizer to the wrong table and gave us an extra Lobster Bisque before we got the right order. The waiter recommended the most expensive item on the menu, at $50 a plate, the Lobster Thermidor. The way the waiter spoke of the history of this dish and how wonderful it was with tarragon and cream etc...my husband and I were both stupid enough to order the same thing. When the dish arrived, my husband took 2 bites and said, "I'm so sorry but I can't eat this", I tried it.. there was saffron, there was 5 spice, there was absolute strangeness from top to bottom....I forced myself to eat it because I wasn't going to pay $100 for two plates of uneaten food. I looked for the waiter who darted his eyes my way a couple of times but never appeared again....some bus boy gave us our check.... I tried to motion to a manager who kind of nodded and disappeared too... At this point, we had Penn and Teller tickets and had to go.....we paid the exuberant amount for such vomit and left. After the show we went to the Paris and had a real dinner which was great and I then I won $300 in the slots, at least we paid for our dinners!

I love VooDoo Lounge!

This place has amazing food, amazing drinks and great decor as well! The service is amazing, and the view is gorgeous! It had that New Orleans feel, which I LOVE. Everyone should try this place at least once.

Highly Recommended

I just got back from Vegas with my girlfriends...we ate dinner at the Cafe (it is a more expensive place- but then you dont have to pay the cover) The staff was so nice, we asked to have our other friends who did not come to dinner put "on the list" and they gladly added all of them- this kept them from paying cover or waiting in line. the view is awesome and the music is good- and never got too crowded....i would definately recommend!
