Venetian Resort & Casino (The)
The Venetian Resort & Casino made London Sunday Mail list as one of the world's ten grandest hotels located on The Strip. Take a gondola ride and enjoy a serenade as you are transported along the canals. Your luxury suite will be at least 700 square feet and provide excellent views from the 35 story tower. The superb service assures a relaxing stay. Excellent dining includes Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico Steakhouse , Canaletto , Taqueria Canonita and the restaurant/nightclub Tao Asian Bistro & Nightclub . For some more clubbing, check out the scene at TAO Beach. The hotel's arcade features some of the city's most exclusive premier shops for clothing, jewelry and gifts.
We booked for two nights. We were given two rooms that were "on hold". They didn't tell us that there would be renovation construction on the floor above starting at 7:00am the next morning. They ended up moving us for the next night but ruined that days sleeping in. Their management was totally non-empathetic and had the gall to say that they have to finish thier construction and as a courtesy they don't start until 7:00am. They could care less as long as they stay on schedule. All of the restaurants have long lines. They are too big and impersonal and they are adding another 3000 rooms. Totally not recommended.
I absolutely loved my stay at the Vententian in Las Vegas, NV. I went to Las Vegas for a funeral. When we arrived at the hotel the valet attendants were very friendly and helpful. Checking in at the hotel was very easy and because we were there for my aunt's funeral they upgraded our room to the Venezia. The room was incredible! The bathroom was as big as my bedroom. The Venetian also has a mall with gandolas and great restaurants! I loved my stay I think everyone should take time out and visit.
Unless you are a high roller, stay elsewhere. You are charged outrages prices for very poor service. We were stuck there because of the hurricane and they wanted to charge full price for a late check out (not to mention $75 to use the gym and $45 for 2 grilled cheese sandwiches through room service). I don't mind paying $500 a night for a room as long as the staff caters to my needs like they do at the four season (stay there instead).
