Voodoo Cafe & Lounge
Located at the top of the Rio Hotel, this restaurant and nightclub offers some of the most spectacular views of Las Vegas. Diners will enjoy the subdued lighting and elevated booth seating in the restaurant. The nightclub offers all varieties of hard liquor, wines and beers. Menu selections include Backfin blue crab cake, frog legs and Louisiana oysters. An excellent choice is the porterhouse steak with Jack Daniels sauce or the grilled black pepper chicken. There is also a small gift shop where you can purchase a logo T-shirt, or even a "voodoo doll" complete with pins.
My boyfriend wanted to go because he had seen the place on the Food Network. The food is overpriced and does not taste good either. You can find better food at any buffet in Vegas including the one downstairs in the same hotel. The view was fabulous, but that does not over ride the fact of the over priced nasty food. The $160 would have been better spent at the ESPN Zone, The Cheesecake Factory, Commandor's Place,Red Square, and so on.
GREAT FOOD, SERVICE & AMBIANCE!
WHEN YOU ARE DONE WITH DINNER YOU CAN WALK RIGHT UPSTAIRS TO THE LOUNGE. THERE IS ALSO A OPEN AIR NIGHT CLUB AS WELL OVER LOOKING ALL THE LIGHTS OF LAS VEGAS!IT IS AVERY SEXY PLACE!
I AM RETURNING FOR THE SECOND TIME THIS WEEKEND!
This restaurant has fantastic views of the entire city. The food was excellent and well worth the price. You must try one of their signature cocktails. They devote an entire menu to their drinks.
If you want to impress your date, visit this Voodoo Cafe and Lounge. It is very romantic, service is excellent, and the food/drinks are great.
You can also step out to the patio/nightclub to enjoy the view of the Strip.
My only complaint was that the entire restaurant was loud, but I guess it's because everyone was having fun.
Worth the price. This is a "must try" place while in Las Vegas. Would definitely recommend Voodoo Cafe/Lounge!!!
