The buffet at the Sahara Hotel is enormous with more than 900 seats and a Middle Eastern theme. Menu items include carved meats, salads, turkey, seafood, chicken, Chinese food and an Italian cooking station. One nice feature is a "serve yourself" beverage station. The place has a comfortable ambiance making for a pleasant dining experience. Prices and menu may vary on holidays, holiday weekends, and during special events.
Hotel was at the far end of the strip. rooms were not that good. AC didnt work, room temperature didnt go below 60 degree. Bathroom tub was all clogged. it usually took 10 to 15 minutes to drain water through it. Towels were all smelly. Swimming pool was also dirty. A security guard told us there is ticket of $100 for walking barefoot in the hotel.
so the summary is that I will not stay here next time.
I only had breakfast at Sahara's but it was the best Ive ever had. I've eaten all over Vegas and only a few other places compare to Sahara's. Selection, selection, selection. The food is very fresh and diverse. Next time I'm in town, I'll stay at Sahara's again and eat dinner there as well...
Had dinner at the Sahara Buffet and it was excellent! Had a buy-one-get-one-free coupon for the buffet, so decided to try it on our recent Las Vegas vacation. Great selection, friendly attendants and nice atmosphere. We had a terrific meal for a small price. We will definitely go back to eat there on our next trip to Vegas!
I have eaten at this place about 5 times now and it is one of the best I had in vegas. The food is fresh and the people ate good. The draw back is with the eggs omlets where the chef made my omlet very oily and the cheese was not melted.
I also had the champaine brunch which was good with crab legs present and lots of them to go around. I did not like the champaine. J.Roget....BAD
They had a great selection of food, we were given comp passes to go eat at the Sahara Buffet, so of course the Value was good, They had wonderful deserts and all kinds of different foods ranging from American, to Chinese, to Steak, and all kinds of things that I had never heard of for the first time in my life I tried Shark! It was a pretty good place to eat for a free meal!
We stopped here for lunch, and they had a nice selection of things to eat. It's not fancy, but if you like homestyle food, this one is for you. Cool atmosphere, it was decorated like a Morrocon place. Friendly attendents and lage dining area.
