Not fancy but a great time
My daughter turned 3 in August. Most of the rides at Fun Plex I recognized from when I was a kid, from Peony Park. In fact their "new" roller coaster is actually the roller coaster from Peony Park. So since I am 40, the rides are obviously old and not to fancy compared to the rides they come out with today. But, just like I had a great time on these rides when I was a kid she absolutly LOVED them, and wanted to come back the next day. So what I did was throw down something like 50 bucks for 50 tickets, about one ride per ticket for kids rides, and we would come down for five or ten rides on evenings when Mom worked, then play a couple of games in the arcade and have some hot dogs. My daughter had a great time, and we could pop in whenever for a couple of rides since it's close, admission is free, and the lines are short. Comparing Fun Plex to Worlds of Fun, or something like that isn't really a fair comparison. Fun Plex is more like going to a carnival, a little cheasy, but a lot of family fun. I highly recommend it. My daughter asked me about it the other day, but I told her she is going to have to wait til' spring.
Oh, and under 3 ride for free!
