I love NFM! They have low prices and friendly staff. I have purchased my living and bedroom furniture there and never had any issues with the delivery or quality. They have the best selections out of any place around and will find you the best deal they can.

We bought a new stove and made the mistake of having them deliver it! We had just had a new tile floor put in the kitchen two months before we got our new stove. They hire out deliveries to some moving company. We called right away and it took over a week to even hear back--then when he finally came out he denied ever damaging the floor. The chips are right where they put the stove down so I don't know how they could deny it. We tried several times to remedy the problem. We thought we were getting a good price on a new stove but instead it's going to cost us a lot more because now we have to hire someone to replace several tiles on my floor.

Why you should never buy anything from Nebraska Furniture Mart unless you are ok with a company who will sell you anything and then turn their back on you: I bought an Omaha Bedding Co. Berkshire Legacy double pillow top king size bed from NFM, after a short time the mattress developed two large depressions on both sides of the mattress. NFM was contacted and they provided me with the proper documents to make a mattress claim. I supplied the requested documents along with supporting pictures and was told this was a manufacturer defect and the mattress would be replaced under warranty. I was given a return # (12912321) and replacement order # (3584835CR) and instructed to take the mattress to the warehouse to be replaced. On 1/1/12 I loaded the 100lb mattress on top of my suv and drove it 100 blocks to the warehouse. When the mattress was removed and taken into the warehouse I waited for the replacement to be brought out. Instead a warehouse manager (Jay or Jim) asked me to come inside the warehouse. When I entered I was told the mattress would not be exchanged because of a water line on the edge of the mattress that was not related the damaged area. I was told that Omaha Bedding Co. will not give NFM credit for any mattresses with discolorations on the outer covering. The warehouse manager agreed that the water mark had nothing to do with the manufacturer defect but they would not replace it since they could not get credit from the manufacturer of the mattress. I explained that weather or not they could get credit from the manufacture was not my concern and asked the manager to stand behind the product they had sold to me. The manager told me I should take the mattress home and try to shampoo out the watermark with a powered fabric softener. The manager confirmed that if it came back without the water mark they would take it back, I asked the warehouse manager if he was confirming that he understood that the water mark had nothing to do with the defect, he agreed but again repeated they could not take it back since NFM could not get credit for the mattress they sold to me. I asked to speak to his manager and spoke to four managers in the course of the next 45 minutes and not a single person would take responsibility for this, they all parroted the same phrase that they would not get credit from the manufacture for the defect because of the water mark and they were not willing to stand behind the product they sold me even though not a single one of the managers other than the first warehouse manager was even in the same building let alone viewed the mattress. I have the paperwork showing that the mattress was determined to have a defect and was asked to bring the mattress to the warehouse to exchange. I have pictures of the mattress in the warehouse at NFM showing where the water mark is supposed to be. I was even willing to take the replacement they had offered originally even though it is a step down since I was told the double pillow top is no longer made and they could only replace it with a single pillow top (Even though a double pillow top is on display in the showroom and is shown as being in stock). NEVER BUY FROM NFM, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND TURN THEIR BACK ON YOU!!! NFM is too big to care about a single person/customer and they have proven it over and over again. Look at all the review on any unbiased website ( NFM's web site reviews seem a little fishy how pro-NFM the reviews seem to be) to see the truth -crappy service and managers who don't have the power to take care of a customer. Go to NFM to see the products and then buy them online. You will get a better price and have better customer service.

NFM is the most horrible furniture store ever !!! I ordered some living room theater seating on November 11th, 2011. They told me it wouldnt arrive until Dec 26th. Here it is Dec 28th and not only do I not have my furniture but now I am being told I will have to wait until after Jan 4th 2012 !!! Almost 2 months after I ordered it !! I guess our guests on New Years eve will just have to sit on the fing floor ! Customer care was NO help! A lot of sorry ... not sure why its late, must be the manufacturer , sorry. This will be my LAST purchase from this store !!!

I would not go to Nebraska Furniture Mart anymore after 3 messed up deliveries, 5 weeks of not getting all my furniture, and one very rude customer service lady I would gladly pay a few $$$ more for anywhere else. Epic Fail... Too bad I would think you would want to keep customers in this economy but I guess NFM is doing pretty well to lose a few customers. Sad part is I really liked going there to buy stuff :(

Customer service sucks........don't buy anything there, thinking that if something goes wrong all you have to do call customer service and they will fix it or make it better. They do nothing but blame you for whatever is wrong and they can't do anything to help you. What happened to "The customer is always right"? I will tell everyone my experience and encourage them not to buy from Nebraska Furniture Mart!!!!

I will never make another purchase at NFM. I purchased an expensive electronic item with CASH, and when I tried to return it 3 days later they would not give me my CASH back. Apparently when I gave the sales clerk my phone number my husband's name came up, and she rang it up that way. I guess she couldn't take the time to see I was a WOMAN. Now they will not give me my money back, but of course they would be more than happy to give me store credit. When I said that if I had purchased the item at Best Buy or any other store with CASH I would have gotten my money. Their weak excuse is that these other stores don't care about customer security. WHAT??? I WILL NEVER, EVER PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM THERE AS LONG AS I LIVE. I will be telling this to all my friends, coworkers and family. Mrs. B must be rolling over in her grave over how the customer is treated now.

Bought a leather swivel rocker recliner in April 2009. June comes and the backing on the bottom that holds all the stuffing inside ripped in about ten places due to being VERY poor quality and obviously defective. ALL the stuffing where your legs rest fell out.Since I live 120 miles from the store NFM sends a tech from 45 miles away to look and take pictures. He was a NICE guy and knew what he was talking about.Said I needed a new seat assembly and ordered that from NFM. Obviously NFM looked at the pics and said the stuffing fell out,,,THEY sent more stuffing,,,with nothing to hold it in. I called tech and he reordered the seat assembly which I needed. NFM changes order to send me the foam seat UNDER the seat assembly,and other parts that were NOT needed. But NO seat assembly. I asked tech how my new seat assembly was to be stain treated since my old one was. It became the beginning of the end. He said he CANT stain guard it. NFM has to do that. So I email NFM to ask about stain guarding my seat assembly and they say no problem,it is coming from the factory and has been shipped to me direct,when it comes they will have delivery person PICK up my chair,take back to Omaha,have it repaired there,and redelivered. It has been 2 months and no assembly has arrived. I dont think it was ever ordered. It is NOW October. It has drug on 4 months and no visible try to fix this problem. My daughter calls to express her dissatisfaction and request getting it taken care of. Said it would be done this week. NO response from them in 3 weeks. I emailed them a not happy with there no response and gave them plenty of notice to have my chair repaired or a complete refund by Nov. 1 2009 and that isnt going to happen either since it is now THAT day,or couple hours from. They wont even respond to any contact now. Seems they think it will go away. OR it is now out of warranty so effectively they will claim it is out of their hands. I dont know how to get my money back. And in the mean time of all this repair a bolt, a little one,1/4 inch,broke in the undercarriage and something is now bent under there,it doesnt work right,eve after "I" replaced there the too tiny of bolt. I am tired of trying to get this piece of junk repaired!!!(Which I doubt they will ever do!!!)

NFM is a great place to shop. We have been customers for over 45 years and have never found better prices or service anywhere. Never had a problem with any product or service. Would recommend Nebraska Furniture Mart to anyone for anything.

I will never do business with Nebraska Furniture Mart again. The delivery personnel were unprofessional and disrespectful in my home. I voiced my complaints to customer service but heard nothing in return. The mattress exchange policy was poorly explained and we now have the option of paying an additional $500 to purchase another mattress or keep the same mattress we are not pleased with. I am very disappointed and angered by the service we received and quality of the products.
