Borsheim's Fine Jewelry & Gifts, Omaha

I did like their product, high-end and good customization. However, I will no longer recommend due to my recent experience. My wife and I were married in CO but have family in Omaha and is where we currently reside. We had to drive/ship all of our gifts home after the wedding. We received a Waterford Crystal bowl as a wedding gift from borshiems, beautiful; however silverware/ housewares we went with are silver so decided to return. We called first and were told that they are all the same and they would give us store credit since we did not have a receipt. This was fine by us considering we have 9 weddings in 2012 and shopped there often. When we tried to return the item they would not take it because there was no green sticker apparently sold with all waterford crystal. This is concerning to me considering I did not receive a sticker with the gift nor was there a stick when it was purchased I am told. In addition, it is specifcally stamped with the Waterford logo. I tried to be empathetic with them explaining the amount of business we give them and the floor associate discussed with the manager who told us they wouldn't even give us the store credit without the sticker. So not only did they fail to provide the sticker at purchase but they also failed to stand behind their product. I will never shop or recommend again. Wasn't a great deal of money which is what makes it so unfortunate for them as, again, we were frequent shoppers and they have lost at least two lifetimes of business.

Purchase TAG watch, less than year 1 number on face deteriorating. Promise to make right Less than year another number deteriorate. I did not give them flawed money, TAG flawed, asked for new watch, they said sent to factory rep. would make right. 8 weeks before returned watch, one year later several more numbers deteriorate. Again asked for replacement watch or $ back. Said would make it right and now replace bezel. Sent back 3 times same problem. No replacement nor refund. Notification of 3 different managers. Sent email to Store Manager, no return contact. Poor, Poor, Indeed.

Just walking in the door makes one feel like they are rich, the atmosphere is homey, yet elegant and the merchandise is wonderfully presented. You feel as though you are the only one in the store, the minute the staff says, hello, may I help you. Enjoy your time and shop well.

Borsheim's is a jewelry store unlike any other. It is where the blue collar worker and the super rich shop side by side and are always treated as equals. I am from Cleveland, but got connected to Borsheim's through a family member. I was seeking an engagement ring, but had a specific vision of what I wanted for my wife. Borsheim's took on the task of finding exactly what I was looking for. They found something similar, but not exactly what I wanted, so they had it redesigned to my specifications. All this took place through phone calls and email. Once it came time to buy wedding rings, we searched all over Cleveland, but found nothing to our liking. So we went to Borsheim's. I sent notice when we would arrive and the store gave us a specific salesperson to take care of us. We quickly found what we were looking for! During the whole process we were treated like royalty; however the store treats everyone that way! They understand the meaning of "customer service" and know happy customers will come back, even if it means flying half way across the country!

I'm a soldier that was marrying a soldier.

We were on block leave from Germany for 10 days before I went to Kosovo and he to Macedonia for nine months. We had little time to plan a real wedding and settled for a judge and courthouse...I at least wanted the ring of my dreams! The staff at Borsheim's was (excuse the military jargen) Out-Damn-Standing! I gave the description of exactly what I wanted and it was created. Yes...created, for me. The band I wanted was in stock, but there were no trillion mountings. There were two trillion solitair necklaces...and my wedding set was born. The worker-bees in the back must have placed my ring ahead of the line...normally taking ten days, it was done in three.

I am ever greatfull to the staff at Borsheim's for taking such good care of me and my needs. I will remember the service I received whenever I look at my ring.
