This restaurant specializes in Nebraska beef, but the number one draw is prime rib. Seasoned and slowly cooked, the meat melts in your mouth. The restaurant offers an early bird prime rib special from 4:30p-5:30p every day. The menu also features many different cuts of steak served with potatoes and other trimmings. Casual attire is acceptable. This restaurant is located within a mile of interstate access, along one of Omaha's major streets. Check out their website for a full menu.
This place is a casual relaxed environment. It has Anchor Steam beer and other upscale beers as well as full bar. The prime will come out any way you like it. I take mine lean and they will cut it so that it is lean.
I am on a sodium restricted diet, and have had no trouble with them helping me get the order right. My salads have been good. The oil and vinegar on the side is a pleasant mix of cider vinegar and EVOO, both fresh and tasty.
I can't comment on how the deserts taste, but the ones people have been getting at other tables looked like some impressive homemade cream pies.
Lots of sports memorabilia in a dark interior.
I can recommend it for a nice quiet dinner. A little pricey, but worth the money. Certainly a great place to go for a quick, quiet dinner in west-central Omaha.
The atmosphere is very nice, like a retro-italian casual steak house but the service was not good at all and the salad was very poor. I ordered the combination steak soup and salad with bread choice and the only thing good was the grilled bread. The Soup tasted like someone dumped a salt shaker in it and the the salad came out of a bag with no vegetables, nothing, very ugly salad with no garnishments. I honestly felt I was ripped off for 9 something. The other people at my table ordered prime rib and said it was just ok. The waitress was very cold, unfriendly and didn't service our table as much as other tables that had ordered huge quantities and dollar amounts of prime rib. Don't recommend it at all-Mary
