Busch Stadium, St Louis

I had never been to St. Louis before and my expectations were high...the scene as we approached St. Louis was great, however I wasn't impressed with the surrounding area of the stadium...we took a lap around the field looking for a bar only to find a hole (the old Busch Stadium). It's been almost 2 years and they still have a hole sitting next to the new stadium. We eventually found a make shift bar a couple blocks from the stadium but kind of a weak bar scene for a stadium that doesn't have tailgating. Then I had the pleasure of finding out Busch Stadium charges $8.50 for a beer. This was the most expensive beer I have ever paid for at a baseball game. Sure the stadium looked very nice, its only 2 years old but my overall experience was average. Top 3 Parks I have been to: 1. PNC Park (Pittsburgh) 2. Wrigley Field (Chicago) 3. Miller Park (Milwaukee) Worst 3 Parks I have been to: 1. Dodger Stadium (L.A.) 2. Metrodome (Minneapolis) 3. Busch Stadium (St. Louis)

Besides the fact that the Cards rule, this stadium is beautiful. Plus it has one the the prettiest downtown views ever! The food is expensive there so eat before you go! The view was wonderful no matter where you sit.

It is just like partying with your friends at Busch. The new Busch Stadium is so great and there is a view of the Arch over center field. Everyone is so friendly in St. Louis and the fans are the best in baseball.

I go there at least once a year, making the trip up from Arkansas. I would recommend it to anyone! The seats are great, the food is great, the concourse is super wide and easy to navigate. I'll be back many many times.

The new Busch Stadium (opened 2006) is very, very nice. It's your typical beautiful, baseball-only ballpark of the 1991-present era. I think any baseball fan will enjoy a Cardinals game here. It's family-friendly. Note: Purchase tickets in advance. They sell out often. Also, it's easy to park north of the ballpark at the Macy's lot on the corner of 7th and Pine.

The stadium is great. Little pricy for tickets $ 17 standing room only. The food was more $ then most other stadiums I have been in. Try the brat wrapped in a pretzel & beef briskit

The new Busch truely is, "BASEBALL HEAVEN!" Augie Busch would be proud of the Cardinals new home. The sight lines are great and food is as good as old Busch. The best part is Ernie Hayes on the organ! Ernie rules all! We are WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!

It has so much more than the old Busch. The cost of everything was a little pricier, but there was more than hot dogs and nachos. SOOOO ready to go back.

Busch Stadium is the best ball park EVER!!! The Cardinals are the best team in baseball so it fits them perfectly. It is a place everyone would love to go! Definitely a family place. And St. Louis is the best baseball town in America.
