The South County Antique Mall, a vast display of collectibles and antiques housed in an old Kroger supermarket building, is a place where visitors can lose themselves for hours. Shoppers and browsers are met with an almost incomprehensible amount of goods, which fill some 300 booths and 400 showcases. You will find everything you, your parents, your grandparents and probably a couple more generations all grew up with, from old inkwells right on up through those ever-present Beanie Babies. You will also encounter jewelry, clothes, furniture, old political buttons, button-top shoes, sleds, soda bottles and about 10,000 other categories you cannot even imagine.

Great finds!
By George, 10/31/09
I am always amazed at the variety and the cheap prices. I have found many things to decorate my home with. I'm always satisfied when I leave the doors! If you haven't been- you should really go! :)

Lots of everything!!

Large volume, easy access off freeway. Decent prices. When I lived in St. Louis it was a routine stop every several months. I like to give gifts that are old and cherished. This place is good for finding small gifts.

I have been here several times.

All items clean, well displayed with good lighting, easy to get around with tons of items to explore. I have always found a bargain or two along with some very unique items.

oh ya

It was awsome and fun. I love to look at all the cool stuff and there are so many interesting things their. And some person put in their review that there was no fast food places nearby and there is to, there is a McDonalds right in front of it. I am a teenage girl and i want people to know it's not just for older people, well maybe not a lot of people my age would like it but i would rather go their than the mall and buy cloths with stupid holes all over them. I collect baseball stuff and i found a lot there. I am begging my mom to take me back because they had a lot of pins i wanted and i want to get this baseball bat and stuff. And a coca cola pin. But one thing i did not like was they had some fur there, fur comes from turtured inocent animals, who were horrifingly murdered for their skin. But it was fun so go there, if u want to.

80's toys
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/04/05
I have a large collection of GIJoe figures from the 80's and 90's and SCAM was a great help in completing my collection. I was however paying top dollar for the figures there but at one point, it was the only place to find them. It's a great place to go when you want to spend but can't figure out on what. :)

South County Antique Mall
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/18/04
This is one of the best mid-west antique malls. My husband and I enjoy visting this mall 3 or 4 times a year. It's full of mid-priced antiques and collectibles. It's rare to walk out of the store without a purchase! It's well worth the 3 hour drive for us!

Always good stuff here. A wide variety of items for browsers and buyers of serious antiques. No snack bar but a few vending machines. There are fast food places nearby.
