BizJournal Online has voted Gino's as the Best Place for a low-profile lunch. The atmosphere is classy and relaxed, and the owner actually speaks Italian. The restaurant caters to business and leisure travelers and it also has a kid-friendly environment. The menu offers pasta and veal entrees as well as a huge seafood salad. There are also numerous options for vegetarians. An indoor bar serves a large selection of wines, beers and other alcoholic drinks. Drinks can be ordered for the outdoor dining area, too.

The BEST!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/01/07
OMG this place is awesome. Everything is scrumptious. Only Italian restaurant I have ever liked. You MUST have dinner here! The bread with the garlicky olive oil dip is fabulous and I could eat the red sauce alone by the bowlful.

Very disappointing.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/13/06
The atmosphere was nice but the food was definitely not good. It lacked in presentation, and there were 4 of us and none of us were happy with what we ordered. I will say the bartender made some dynamite rum and cokes and the bread and olive oil was good. Let me mention the service was terrible. We ordered drinks at the bar but they seated us at our table and said they would bring the drinks to us....about 10 minutes later.

Sicilian Food Heaven!!
By Ron T A, 04/21/05
The first time I walked into Gino's, I knew I was in for a treat!!! I am the wife who was in my Sicilian grandmothers kitchen!! Oh, those beautiful aromas!!! The tastes matched, and with the warmth of the owner, and his genuinely friendly staff, I was in heaven!!! Being 100% Sicilian-American, and a life-long resident of St.Louis, I can tell you this: Forget the Hill, unless you want to shop for your own ingredients. Why bother? You can dine at the best place in town - GINO'S Mangia! Chow!
