Nostalgic Shoppers Paradise!

Dick's Dime Store is to die for! I spent almost $200 in the dime store! I left with about 10 bags of christms gifts and stocking stuffers you can't find in my home of Chicago. From paper dolls to penny candy, to cotton hankies and old fashioned holiday ornaments, this place rocks! Perfectly clean, neatly organized, but CROWDED. Be patient, it's worth the "Excuse Me's" as you try to find just that perfect gift which will be the blast from the past for those lucky recipients on your gift list. Other great stores in town, as well. German Clock shop, resale shop,Victorian clothing and home boutiques, Native American shops, shoes, ice cream, fudge, candy, there is something for everyone. Parking takes a little time. Be patient, someone will leave and give you a great spot. I'm going back in 2 weeks with my gift list for this year. I can't wait.
