Will do it again!
By Annabelle, 09/24/08
Everyone from the sales clerk at the door, our tour guide, and check out clerk were very friendly, and most importantly they were very knowledgeable about their products. The tasting was very educational and flavorful! Cheers!

GREAT TOUR
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/22/08
There was a grop of eight of us that went to this tour. We had a blast. Bill was our tour guide and gave us so much information on the different wines and how to cook with them. I would definitely go back. We took the tour twice that weekend. Friendly!!!!!!!

This tour is free, educational and fun! Papa George gave our tour...very nice elderly man.We watched a movie and saw how wine is made and bottled. The wine tasting was alot of fun and I was able to meet some very friendly vacationers. The wine is superb.I loved many but my favorite was the concord.Papa George also suggested mixing it with sprite or seven up and it was great! I would definately go back here!

A total disappointment.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/08
My mother and I had around an hour to spare between engagements and stopped there. We walked around the gift shop for quite awhile and weren't acknowledged once. We found their items to be overly priced and since the tour took over an hour, we weren't able to participate thus meaning we didn't get to do any sampling. We had visited St. James Winery in St. James, MO and found the people to be more friendly, samples more readily available and the prices much more reasonable located in a setting that you atually got to see their vineyards. Neither of us were impressed with Stone Hill and don't plan to go back.

Why would anybody spend $16 for Missouri wine?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/08
Hermann, Missouri is sort of a backwater area with a strong German tradition. Lovely, underdeveloped town with unique architecture that reflects its mid-19th century ethnic and Missouri River heritage. At one time, this was a major wine production center, and it is attempting to revive that tradition. Stone Hill Winery is the historic center for both the old and new industries, and is certainly worth a visit. The well-run tour was interesting and included a tasting of about 8 wines for only $2.50. But then again, they were Missouri wines and generally pretty dreadful. At $10 some would have been marginally acceptable, but at $16 they would only appeal to the most novice drinkers. Not even remotely comparable to similarly priced wines from almost anywhere else in the world ...

Nice stop
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/02/08
Not much wine-making going on here, but you do get to sample a large number of their wines. Worth a stop. Their fruit juices were the best!

A must see
By Dave, 12/17/07
The winery tour was a must see. Although it is smaller in scale compared to the actual winery it was still very informative and enjoyable. The free samples of wine also make the tour especially fun. Do not miss out trying the creme sherry, it is fabulous.

Free Wine, Duh.
By Joshua, 08/10/07
We have been on many wine tours from the Texas hill country to Napa valley. This wine tour was short and provided the opportunity to try several (about 10) samples. I do want to reiterate the fact that you can purchase many of the wines from Jubilee. You will save almost $2 per bottle. What we did was checked which bottles they had and did the wine tour. You will get caught liking one bottle and not finding it there.
