Presley's Country Jubilee
Located right on the strip in Branson, this theater has the distinction of being the first theater in town and has become a landmark. Over the years, the building has undergone a number of face-lifts, and its lighting and audio are now considered modern. The family that originally built the theater has grown over the last thirty years as well, and thankfully many of them have stayed in Branson to entertain millions of people. The Presley Family Jubilee is two hours of non-stop laughter, singing and dancing. The talented artists will make you laugh until you cry, tap your foot to the latest country hit and sing a familiar gospel tune or two.
We have been to Branson 4 times in the 15 yrs we've been married. The Presleys was the first show my husband took me to see in 1992 on our honeymoon. We both were disappointed this year, we had made plans to make the show, went to get tickets and they were on vacation. We always make the Presleys our first show when we get into branson. We plan to come back in Dec. of this year.We are never disappointed in the show, just when we cant see it when we are in Branson. BEST SHOW IN TOWN!!!!! Worth the 400 mile drive from Okla. Thanks Preslrys for the great memories.
My husband and I just watched the DVD our daughter purchased at the November 3, 2006 performance. For her and her husband, the show was terrific. For us, it was not only another excellent show, but a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
Our girls, now 32 & 30, grew up at the same time as many of the Presleys. We visited Branson nearly every year during the 80's and never missed stopping for their show.
It was wonderful to see how the show continues to be based around not only musical talent, but also clean humor and family values.
The DVD reminded us that Lloyd Presley is now 82 years old; I can only imagine how much joy he feels during each performance, surrounded by his family while entertaining others.
I wish to thank each of the Presleys for the memories -- not only of their many wonderful performances, but for the memories of my own daughters' enjoyment as they grew up.
We have been going to Branson since the late 70's and had never gone to The Presleys. What a mistake!!! We attended their show for the first time last year and we never laughed so much in our lives. Cecil is just the best!!! The music is wonderful and you can feel the joy and fun they have with their show. They are all so talented. We bought one of the tapes and watch it over and over. This is a show you must not miss. We will go back every time we are in Branson.
