Hart Plaza, Detroit

I love Hart Plaza. They always have wonderful events there. I have been crossing the Windsor-Detroit border since I can remember and everytime they have an event I'm there. I used to work downtown at the Courtyard Marriott and we stayed busy whenever there was something going on in Hart Plaza. It has a beautiful view of Canada and your right on the water which is breathe taking. It's family oriented and everyone can come and joy the festivities. Hart Plaza is the place to be in Detroit, MI.

I am a Detroit native, and am disappointed to see that so much of the ethnic festival has disappeared from the venue. When I was growing up, the ethnic festival included not only African/Black-related cultural activities, but also Latino, German, and Polish festivals...and, I believe, other ethnic festivities. Now, it's beens reduced to a select few. Don't get me wrong, as a black person, I am happy to see the African American, Caribbean, AND African World Festivals, but I think more should be added to draw more people down there. Maybe the city reduced the number of these festivals because of money. However, I think that private groups should donate to expand this venue. Hart Plaza can be great, but like the rest of Detroit, it hasn't reached its full potential.

Hart Plaza has a great view of the Detroit River. A real good place in the spring and summer with the various music festivals. Always have had a safe and happy time.

Hart Plaza is hoping in the summer. There is always something to do there. The summertime music festivals are the best. Hart Plaza is located in Downtown Detroit situated on the Detroit River. I enjoy sitting on a bench along the river on a warm summer's evening. People of all ages will enjoy the food and entertainment that Downtown Detroit has to offer.

something is always going on there. Like the Techno fest or other events whenever you go. It is always busy there on any given day.

Very versitile place to go. Take the kids or not, eat or not, sit by the water or not. Bring a blanket or not. It's cool.

I liked Hart Plaza as this is a very good place to go to enjoy a meal while getting to enjoy the Detroit River passing by.

I like hart plaza since it's on the detroit river line. Facing Canadas winsors Casino. The walk is so nice since they redone it. The new sculptures are an also nice touch. The Detroit International Jazz fest is very nice there.

very nice view of river. i like to visit day time but night time is little scary.not very clean.
