Description

At some point during the course of your time on the Island, plan to be at the Madaket Beach at sunset. The spectacle will not disappoint. Of course, plenty of visitors and residents alike head to Madaket during regular beach hours for sunbathing and swimming. Please note, surf can be heavy at times. Lifeguards on duty in season. Restrooms and food available. NRTA shuttle service from Town. Also accessible via the Madaket Bike Path , which runs 5.5 miles from Town.

Coolest place ever

Beautiful sunsets, seals right there in the water, and surfers, the coolest thing to see seals and surfers in water at the same time. Plenty of peace and quiet, just a great place to go!

Best Beach in the world

The most scenic beach ever!! So cool!! The water is so warm and the sunset so awesome. Wish I was there now.

Cold, but so beautiful.

This was such a beautiful sunset. After a few days of rain, the sun was shining and we heard about this being the best spot for a sunset. It was cold but worth the view. Wow!

The best sunset here

This was a beautiful perfect beach. Absolutely Breathtaking!!!! We rode our bikes here and had a few snacks from the store. We were told to make sure to see the sunset, and we did. And it was by far the best we've ever seen. Do not miss it!

We go here every year to Deer hunt! Great sunsets at this beach! you will not be dissapointed! Strong surf...very scary...but very fun! Never seen a beach like it before...like I said...AWESOME!!
