Jetties Beach, Nantucket

We decided to try it but we left. We came to Nantucket to get away from the crowds. It was close to the bed and breakfast inn where we stayed, but it was very crowded. We were told by the innkeeper to find other beaches that are less known and more private and we were glad we did. A plus is that you can buy food and drinks here.

There is a great resteraunt on the beach and the location is on a wonderful side of the island. I can't wait to go back there this summer.

Great place lots of fun for kids and adults. Good food , clean bathrooms, close to town. Has a beach store with incredibly affordable being at the beach. It also has showers and changing rooms. Town bus also runs there. Playground and tennis courts and community sailing open to public and very affordable. Also you can rent chairs which was really helpful and the people who run the place have been there for years and keep the place clean and friendly.
