Tivoli Day Festival
Tivoli Day is an annual tradition in this seaside village of gingerbread trim cottages resting amidst swaying grass or sloping towards white-sand sea. The Tivoli, an Oak Bluffs dance hall, is also an Italian city northeast of Rome. The Tivoli festival, for all ages and held noon to sunset on Circuit Avenue, features music, arts, crafts, food, and a 62-mile bike race around the island. There are shorter races available around the pink, green and yellow Oaks Bluffs shops, tea stops and tennis courts. Admission is free.
