Dolphin Fleet Whalewatching, Provincetown

NO WHALES SITED ,but did manage to get a glimpse of 4 for a second before they went,the naturalist onboard spoke more about the birds than the whales, Blind pugh could have spotted more whales than this shower,probably because the boat was 3/4 empty they were not that bothered. In future will stick to Plymouth they know what they are doing and are very professional.These people could not wait to get rid of us all off the boat. spoke to some friends from Plymouth who went out the same day and time from Plymouth and they saw quite a few whales feeding .We were not offered any tickets for another cruise .I feel the dolphin fleet is run by amateurs who do not know what they are doing

The Dolphin fleet out of Provincetown is excellent value, the captains of the boats take every oppotunity to get you up close to feeding whales, the narration is professional and informative. Every effort is made to make the whole trip interesting, including the travel time to the feeding area. During the trip you may be offered a DVD of your trip, do not do this. The DVD contains some stock footage explaining some background of whales, shot in a rather amateur manner, then some footage of your trip, apparently unedited. Our DVD contained footage of the side of the boat cabin taken from a few inches away, and faile to catch any of the three breaches which took place which we managed to get still photos of, overall the DVD appeared to have been taken by a small child, and bore little or no resemblance to our trip, luckerly we have our photos, but we cannot show off the DVD since it is an embarrasement to watch. Apart from that the trip was well worth the money and i would highly recommend the trip to all, just don't get the DVD.

What can you say. Beautiful day on the Atlantic and sighted 9 different humpback whales. It was one of the most magnificent things my wife and I have ever seen.

My husband and I took the trip with the Dolphin Fleet Whalewatching folks on Friday, June 15, 2007 and had the time of our lives. They went out of their way to ensure we were able to see whales while out - and we certainly appreciated their efforts. We saw 6 humpbacks while out and one "youngster" even did a breach which was awesome. Great day !

I liked everything about the whale watching Dolphin Fleet. It is thrilling to see the majestic whales breaching and spouting. When vacationing at the Cape I never miss a chance to go whale watching. The boat ride alone is great fun. ( One time we got an extra bonus in seeing a group of beautiful dolphins trailing us for a short while.) Wonderful memories.......
